I was 18 years old in 1962 and had a job babysitting. The 25 coins you found in the coin hunt today would have only cost me $2.50. I wished I would have known more about collecting coins back then 😢 (62 yrs ago) because quarters and dimes were both 90% silver as you know, but back then silver was not an issue like it is today.
Wow I talked to my Grandpa about the same thing I cant Imagine a Time Where Silver was Common in Change but you know they always say "Hindsight is 20/20"
I was searching through nickels while watching the vid. I found a rotated die 1992 D nickel. Holy cow. It`s the first rotated die ever and I`ve been searching coins for fifty years.

Found 3 silver dimes in a Loomis box today. Also found out our Loomis boxes over here for halfs are pre searched for silver.

Wow! Half a roll of silver. nice. I wish I could find as much, as often. Still, I got a 1965 so far in my 2-box-worth hunt. One silver, hoping to get more... My previous hunt gave ma a 2018 Balboa proof dime! A proof Balboa in a Canadian roll. We never know what we can find...

Have you ever found a post-64 silver dime in a roll (broken out from proof set)
The only post-1964 find I've seen anyone get (other than half dollars) was someone that found a 40% silver bicentennial quarter doing quarter hunting. Someone would have to be insane to break open a silver proof set just to spend the coins, but I've found NIFC coins in circulation before. Not silver, but I did recently get as change from a vending machine 2 of the Alabama innovation dollars. So keep your eyes open; it's rare but not impossible!

Crazy hunt! Lately I haven’t even been able to find a silver dime… it’s been like 8 boxes.
Ive had Good Luck on Dimes! Like 2 Weeks Ago i did 8 Boxes of Dimes and Got Skunked Not One Silver Dime in 8 Boxes... But than Im Back on the Silver in these 8 Boxes you Never Know! Just Gotta "KEEP ON DIGGIN!'

Neither I use coin machines at the Bank Coinstar Charges 12% Heck No! Haha

Avoid Coinstar if you can... they charge 12.2%! (Unless you convert them to a gift card.) Banks rarely charge more than 2%, and many banks will charge no fee at all, especially if you have an account there.
