Hey guys! Thanks for stopping by and checking this video. Had fun driving down to AZ for this trip. Had fun meeting you guys and other RUclipsrs who I for sure want to collab with in up coming videos. Thanks guys, leave a comment if you have any questions!
Dang that Wildtop might be what fills my needs, though I do like the looks of tonneau cover to preserve the truck profile. I hope it comes shipped with assembly required so that it will cost less to get out here to Honolulu
Oh man I didn’t even consider that. You might be able to find a retailer out there? I’ve started seeing them pop up in topper/rack shops. That being said you could probably reach out to them and ask. It is a really cool option. It’s a soft topper with a higher weight rating than my hard-sided topper.
Hey this is Nick from WildTop. Firstly, our thanks to the guys at OXFOOT for the mention in the video. We had a great time showing our innovative topper off at the Expo. Secondly, I was watching the cool video and noticed this comment. I wanted to let you guys know that we offer free shipping to Hawaii. In fact, we offer free shipping to every state in the US and Canada. Cheers!
Question.- maybe through your travels you can take a survey! --- Why is it that every outdoor camping activity takes place on the passenger side, but overlanders do driver side? -- I have a 270 awning and when asked why no walls for pax side they said it was never a thought. It was like I showed them fire for the first time! They never knew everything happens on pax side. Would like your thoughts and maybe input from over OL's. Thanks!
Yeah that is why I like the 180 degree ones because they can go on either side. But yeah you’re not wrong. I always set up things on the passenger side for the most part.
That’s just a free spirit tent on top of the extrusion topper, not the final product for the camper. Eventually there will be their own brand tent on top that will have a pass through.
Thanks for sharing the overland expo. The 4-wheel campers (project m) was one that I really liked. I've been thinking about a truck camper, but this is much more simplistic and still gives you what you need. 🏞

Lots of cool options. Prospect overland’s is my favorite by far! Such a rad setup
I know, I’m super jealous of that set up. Maybe one day

I would love to see a wedge camper that uses the intrepid double hinge
I love that double hinge system on their tents so much. I feel like they would also make a cool camper

I guess enough people do it the other way that they go that way? But I’m not sure.
The stuff coming out of South Africa and Australia is bass akwards because they drive on the wrong side of the road
4:55 so does the topper not allow Alucabin/GFC/Lone Peak/Super Pacific style access?

I don't know if it's just me, but after you say "started" the sound cuts out,
Hm, I hadn’t noticed that but maybe someone else experienced it as well?
@@OXFOOT No idea what happened, but sound works fine now....gremlin maybe?

It’s sort of something I’m considering for the future as well. I’m back and forth about that and a scout.
