"You're probably here because you're considering buying VIP experience tickets"
Lol no I don't have that money, I just like watching ya.
Lmao same
One thing I love about this channel is now much information you try to take in from- and learn from- your community. It's cool being able to offer my expertise on something like set design after say the Wyatt Sicks debut and then turn around and learn all about how to navigate my first VIP experience next time a show comes my way. I think informative channels are at their best when it's not just informative in one direction and you do that quite well.
I appreciate that! 🙏
Sorry for the long post, but there are some cool gems in here.
This is a list of all 6 of the wwe shows that I ever went to:
I came all the way from Israel 3 times for wrestlemania and also experienced the first clash at the castle live. I also went to a house show in Tel Aviv in 1994 and a house show in Luxemburg in 2007 (pretty random, I know. it was a surprise birthday gift from my wife).
At wrestlemania 20 we could meet wrestlers like Jericho and others at the Hilton where they stayed. Our package which cost 814$ included wrestlemania 20 floor seats, 3 nights at a luxurious new york hotel, a brunch with wrestlers like Kane and got gifts like bobblehead figure etc, also included a meet and greet with Tazz, Jim Ross, John Cena, Erich Bischoff, Billy Gunn, Mick Foley, Dawn Marie, etc.
In luxmeburg I accidently found a bunch of wrestlers sitting together at a resteraunt. They thought I wanted money when I came up to them. Victoria was cool though.
At wrestlemania 35 I came as a member of an Israeli media outlet so got to interview and take photos of many wrestlers including Rey Mysterio, Kurt Angle, Asuka, etc. Also had access to interview wrestlers at the hall of fame red carpet and got access to the media lounge at wresltmania which had catering and many wrestlers were hanging out there including the nxt uk guys (at the time Rea Ripley was one of them.
At wrestlemania 39 I was just a fan again and came with my two sons age 10 and 12 at the time which was a very cool experience for us all. Did not get to meet any wrestler but did take pics with green shirt guy.
At clash at the castle I got to meet Byron Saxton and did pay for a meet and greet with Bret Hart.
So in summary, Ive been a fan since 1993, did not get to a lot of shows live and usually did not spend a lot on meeting wrestlers. But I do remember meeting them all so these stuff do leave impression.
This has to be the most underrated wwe channel.
21:14 Tiffany comes out. I’m getting my body signed and I’m getting that shit tattooed.
Hey man! Im so glad you had an great time and i am definitely jealous of you meeting Tiff and Sami. One little added thing is (and im sure this is depending on the venue) that if you arrive to the show at about 11 am to noon and go to the back where the superstars drive in to park, sometimes they will come out and sign and take pictures, doing this has allowed me to meet the likes of Bayley, Rey Mysterio, TJ Perkins, R Truth twice, Brian Kendrick, Kofi Kingston twice, Enzo Amore, Liv Morgan, Dijak, Joaquin Wilde, Karrion Kross, and Iyo Sky and more! Also, if a show is coming to your town a lot of times one of the world champions will be doing media press and whatnot, in my case, the radio show that Damian went to was very encouraging for people to get out there after the show and Damian was actually pretty happy to see so many people waiting to get a picture with him, but that is def a case by case basis.
Idk if this helps at all but I just wanted to throw it out there and see if you may be able to meet a few extra stars by doing this :)
Good tips! We actually did that and met them after a house show we went to last year!
@@Dporticus thats awesome! I usually find that doing before works better for me because of traffic, but maybe i should try going after the show again!
I like JD, Tiffany, and Sami, but at 500 bucks IDK if the price is worth it. I get that they can't just wheel out the top stars every time but 500 is too much for me. That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed it. (Love your videos btw)
Totally fair. I think part of what you're paying for is the convenience. You could go to one of the free meet and greets but you're almost always going to be waiting hours and hours outside waiting to hopefully get your turn.
So some of your value is the close seating during the show, and some of the value is getting 3+ meet and greets in a fraction of the time it would normally take to get one.
I thought I saw you in the room. I was up front and had a great time except for how cramped the VIP room was. Hopefully I’ll be able to say hi next time.
Yea that room wasn't the most luxurious lol
just bought tickets to summerslam in cleveland 🕺🏻now me and my friends just have to find a hotel that will give us a room in cleveland cause we’re under 21 smh. can make the 5 and a half hour drive, can buy the tickets, supply ourselves with everything we need to get there and back. but can’t get a hotel smh
Maybe airbnb has different rules?
I did the superstar experience in Dececmber 22' aswell in Kalamazoo! When I did it they allowed us to walk to the ring aswell and get a picture next to the ring apron. And for the people that bought the walk the aisle experiance were left behind while we met the superstars. I met Otis and Chad Gable together and Alexa Bliss and Asuka!
As someone who lives where I'll probably never see a live WWE event, I find these types of videos fascinating. Thank you for doing them,
I'm glad I could entertain a bit then!
You sure make it fun with all your fun facts & honest opinions .
Cool video. Great information! I've met several wrestlers over the years but they were mostly veterans who were retired for the most part. Or those who were from other companies.
Btw, I saw someone below mention going up to wrestlers at a restaurant. I have been told many times over the years not to do so. Or, at the very least, be cautious if you do.
They consider it to be their time to unwind and just relax and just want to have a meal in peace.
Ngl i always look forward to your videos. I hope your channel continues to grow so we can keep seeing you go to these shows and show us more of your experience!
These videos are kind of niche so they don't normally do as well as other ones I make. But tbh I just enjoy making them lol hopefully I can do more of these down the line.
Thanks for this! I always wondered.
Great Video Dport!
Thanks for the insight!
My pleasure!
Great video like always! It answered a lot of questions I had.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this video and other similar videos. Always wanted to try these things, and knowing exactly what you're getting is exactly what I needed to make the decision to pull the trigger or not.
I'm glad I could help!
I always appreciate these. Thanks you so much! Keep up the awesome work. I'm 1,000% sure your channel is only going to sky rocket from here.
I appreciate that! Hoping for the best for the channel, but honestly I'm just loving the whole process of learning youtube and getting to talk about wrestling 😆
I love how passionate you are about this. I would likely ask the best way to take a back bump without concussing myself.
These are the videos I don't need a script for because I'm excited practicing it on my way home from the trip lol
this was fun
U should try listening Jim cornettes podcasts, he has some very interesting takes on modern wrestling
1:32 I wanna know how that referee is at every show
18:25 I honestly think that is on brand for jd
I was going to go for my birthday to the Sunday house show but I didn't save up enough 😢 but thanks for the info man
Dang! But happy belated birthday!
@@Dporticus thanks bro I love your content!
Im a simple man. I see dporticus posted I click. Also curious how the VIP stuff even works since my only experience was WM40 Night 1 normal experience
I never thought I would say this but I actually feel bad for JD 😭 like what do you mean no one cared and he only has half a page???
also, a question: do the superstars do their entrance (not the full thing ofc but like coming out to music) when they enter the room?
They did not. The concierge guy just introduced them and they walked in
I think this package would be more worth it if you could know ahead of time which mini title belt you're getting and which superstars you are going to be meeting. It's something I would consider doing myself even. I would wait for one where I had a chance to meet someone like Sami Zayn or CM Punk.
You can get an idea of who you might get by looking up websites that track house show card results. But I agree, it would be nice to know ahead of time exactly what you're getting.
I would love to do this, sadly im from Portugal so very hard.
I wish you could talk about the actual show! I never been to a house show only live so how is it different from each other?
I do plan on doing a video comparing each type of show from an in person perspective
Thanks for the video man. I'm never paying 500 for this crap you just explained though. Seems like absolutely not worth it. Hope you enjoyed ❤
I’d assume you probs won’t but I’ll never know if I don’t ask but would you sell that mini belt if you have one already? If not I understand why just thought I’d shoot my shot as I live in the uk and is hard for me to go to events ( edit now I’ve seen it’s signed so ignore me 😂😂)
I respect the effort 😆
Aye! You were at the Kzoo show?
I was! Great time!
@Dporticus same! Idk if you saw my sign but it was the one that had "Day 41 of asking Cody Rhodes if he'll officiate my wedding in vegas next year"
So are the seats first come first serve or are the row just random.
You pick your seats when buying the package like any other ticket purchase. The entire section is marked as "superstar experience" so it's just a matter of buying them sooner so the closer rows are still available.
I actually did this a few years back and got to meet Damien Priest Austin theory and liv Morgan thought it was super cool at the time but man I got to meet the future world champion in the men’s and women’s and a future world tag team champion
That's awesome! I got JD the literal day before he became a tag champion 😆
@@Dporticus how was he did he stay in character or was he more like a regular guy
@burgermanstan6744 lol nah he was nice as hell. Not at all in character.
@@Dporticus oh cool Austin theory was completely in character when he met us a while back which was really cool
Just curious, you were allowed to get concessions, drinks and food AFTER you sat in your seats, correct?
Yea, we got drinks after the meet and greet stuff was over
I just wanna meet Rhea Ripley one day but oof the price just feels like it’s too rich for my blood
If a PLE comes to your town or anywhere near it, keep an eye out for free meet and greets. That's how we met Rhea last year.
Damn bro yall got fleeced. It sucks they rush these things as if all the superstars are THAT busy. They couldn’t do like one main event guy, a mid carder and like 6 jobbers? The fuck was Tezawa, Maxine, Apollo Cruz, AOP, Street Profits , etc doing that they couldn’t take 20 mins of their time to say hi.
6:45 wtf why
Same lol
lol bro. YOU ARE THE RICH GUY WHO GOES TO ALL THE EVENTS that you’re talking about.
What do you do for work? I just went to smackdown Chicago and holy fuck a beer is $20. You get the Itch to buy merch. Lol everytime it’s expensive af.
I literally do this for work lol believe me, if I was rich I wouldn't be recording in this tiny apartment. Your boy is paycheck to paycheck and we just save up all we can to go to shows.
@@Dporticus oh I thought you had a day job and this was a hobby
@@NinjaFingers19 I've been full time with content creation for a few years now. I only recently got into RUclips with the WWE stuff. Previously I was pretty much 100% on Twitch.
This seems like an incredible waste of time and money.
Could be! Value is all subjective, so hopefully this helps someone make that decision for themselves 😀
@@Dporticus your video is helpful for sure. If I was on the fence about this, the information you provided would have been very useful.
