Pulled the trigger and sold Haaland. Bought Solanke to go with him/Johnson/Son v Ipswich, then with money in bank can upgrade Johnson to Salah next week. Fingers crossed!!
Spurs fan here - Newcastle game we played very well and made loads of chances, pushed really high up the pitch, should have scored more. Got hit on the counter by a great through ball to Isak who scored. Ange was annoyed with this that game (and Leicester) because the performance was there, just not the result. Palace they were terrible by comparison.
Great video. I think this is the most balanced Haaland analysis I have seen. I think it is the tier 2 and 3 players that are key. I took out Salah on round 6. Bad move. But his replacement was Rogers who only has one less goal than Salah since then. So I have been lucky, as have been able the spend that Salah money elsewhere for good rank gains.
Am I the only one thinking of Nikolas Jackson?? he has 9 G/A so far and Chelseas fixtures look really good from GW 12 I think I'm taking out Haaland IN GM 12 and and moving to Salah and Jackson I know he can be Inconsistent but he's getting the numbers
One precaution with Nicolas Jackson is that he's on his fourth yellow card this season and if he gets a fifth before the end of 2024, he'll be forced to miss a match. He's definitely worth considering after the International Break, but you'll have to be prepared to take the risk of a suspension during a favourable week.
Hard to be without a Spurs player this weekend. I planned to go from Jackson to Solanke and wish I'd done that last week! Solanke's recent form simply put me off. I do like the idea of a 3 week punt on Garnacho before moving to Semenyo longer term.
I've been planning for Garnacho from GW 11 for a while now, but the closer it gets, the more I'm putting myself off. There's too much uncertainty when I could just do something more sensible....lol
Always planned to transfer Haaland out for Salah, but undecided whether to do it in 10 or 11. In 10 my options were either Solanke->Cunha or Haaland+Buonanotte->Salah+Cunha. So it was ultimately Haaland (C) + Buonanotte + Cunha vs. Salah (C) + Solanke + Cunha. For me it was a 50:50 decision, and I ultimately went for the former mainly due to Solanke dropping in price and Buonanotte with the IPS fixture. Marginal reasons but devastating results. -29 points swing
Andy, with regards to Newcastle away for Spurs. Spurs were not bad at all, Newcastle literally had 3-5 shots on target and scored 2 of them. The Spurs highline against Willock and Isak was catastrophic and ultimately is what undone Spurs for Newcastle's second goal.

This week it's an easy switch from Smith-Rowe (who I don't want on wildcard) to Johnson assuming he doesn't get injured against Galatasary
Haaland may be the sword I willing to fall on this season as a learning curve. I took out palmer before his four goals. I just took out Diaz (price drop) and he scores three in the champions league. Currently sitting at 1.8 million Diaz > Garnacho Watkins > Cunha Saka next week
