Add padding around your text in the Mailchimp builder

Add more padding to your text!
This quick tutorial uses this small bit of code inside your template using the Mailchimp code block in the drag-and-drop builder. I'm using the old builder :)

Mary, I am having a problem while previewing my newsletter I hope you can help
i used text + image block image to right and text to left, but when preview it on desktop everything is good but in mobile you know that image goes up an text in bottom mine goes as well that's not the problem the problem is the text is not aligned to complete left it has some what of padding that I can remove please help me fix this problem

Hi Marcy can you make advance mailchimp template design video no matter the length so we can understand how classic drag and drop builder works because I saw your previous design video in that I understood but not completely on how to use classic builder so if you can make another tutorial it will mean a lot

Hi Marcy, I am having a problem while previewing my newsletter on mobile. I hope you can help!
I'm using the new builder. On the desktop version I have my photo on the right and my text left, but in the mobile version it stacks vertical, which is not a problem but the now the text shows before the image. How can I change this?

Hi Sander! I don't think there is a setting yet for controlling the order of layout items in the new builder. The new builder is still in beta so I am sure this is coming!
If you switch over to the old builder and use a "image + text" block you will be able to adjust the order inside the settings!

Hi! You could always add a text box, center it, click into the source and do something like this!

@@marcychu 10 months late lol, but whenever I add this to a landing page and save it, it never keeps the padding in the preview/published version, only in the editing window. Any tips?

Hi! That means "Table of Contents" - you could use that to create a list of links to anchor tags in your email. Works pretty well if you have a lot of content and you want to drop the user down to a certain part of the email :). You should try it! Also search in RUclips for "Mailchimp table of contents" there are a lot of vids!

Delete "This is a quick tutorial." That would make it quicker. We look at the video time length to determine whether or not it's quick.
