@@kevinbenstock8116 thanks Kevin! Appreciate that. And nice to know the videos help people out from time to time! The edge might be good, and I’m doing it wrong. However I couldn’t see why 😂😂
i dont like the edge either, the rubber on the piston is too hight up so for cisterns that are not small it does half flush because the rubber isnt sitting down on the syphon body
Those Dudley syphons you have to take the rubber washer off the side and fit it inside on the plastic near the spring and you will always get full flush mate
I had to laugh Dan as those type of customers are everywhere no matter what part of the country your in🤦🏼♂️🤩👊🏼🤣 i find stepping on their toes accidentally on purpose usually helps
On the edge syphon mate, below the c clip on the plunger, check under the plastic washer to see if there is an o ring missing? Seems like the syphon is breathing air as soon as it passes there
More great content thanks for filming. Maybe ear defenders when silicone gun comes out customer may get the idea don’t really want to be chatting nonsense to you 😂. Great to show the jobs that don’t always go plan and take longer than expected. Try not to let it stress you put it on the bill and move onto the next job when your done. All the best Pete 👍

Went today to install the water softener. The customer asked me can I change the float valve in his toilet as well - yeah, sure. 3PM. Went in, pissed, went out. All space tiled up, grouted with aluminium edges - to the pan level. Probably 3 silicone tubes all around. Nope - not happening.
I had 1 syphon years ago.. you pull the handle for a half flush and hold the handle down for a full flush... which is opposite to other syphons which is pull handle for full flush and hold handle down for a half flush... If that makes sense. Lol
It does make sense mate! However In my opinion… your syphon which you held down for a full flush sounds the most logical! Yet most are the other way around haha.
The Junior suffered from poor APS positioning. Melting tubes that restrict the flue airway. PCB resistors and relay issues. Plus the blue transformer. Fan has to be spotless too, runs on fast, then slow. Check for flame lift at burner. The twin pass heat exchanger is, by far the worst job you will ever attempt on one of these.
Thank you so much for that in-depth knowledge. I’ll be aware of this in the future, I really don’t like these Boilers and the best of times probably because I’m not very familiar with them. Thank you for the comment mate.
I always thought it was flush and let go for half flush, flush and hold for full flush but with all the holes plugged that should have flushed max every time🤷🏼♂️
