      @@NoLineNoWait123AbC it is surprisingly crunchy tho. This is an old trick used way before when palm oil isn't a global thing. The hard part is the patience: it is a slow cooking process. You must always use low heat to properly do it, otherwise you'll end up with sticky and burnt chicken.

      Kind of boiling yes but Boiling is done in more water at high heat.
      This is done in less water at low heat. Not sure if it makes the difference though.

      No if it were boiled you wouldn't let the water evaporate. The evaporation allows the chicken to fry in its natural fat...

    • @Frenchconnection6
      @Frenchconnection6 3 месяца назад

       @Janis-kj5qi did you watch all the way through? The water renders out the fat. A little water is used which helps to cook the meat and keep it moist, then as it evaporates off allows the meat to cook in it's own fat.

    When I was eating meat. I would heat my skillet with a lil oil.. not a lot just enough to coat the bottom. I would take my already skinned washed and frozen chicken in the pan frozen and put an top on it after seasoning.. and would turn it over after about 7 minutes or so and it would be done in about 15 minutes. It was delicious.

    Try boiling it in cooking bags after covering it with all the sauce. The longer you boil it, the more tender it should be.
    I'm gonna try doing that with baby back ribs.
