    I bought these and they fit like a glove. Feel great, so much flex in the tongue and tendon guard. I always skate super low and hard, and the extra movement feels so great. I've never enjoyed a skate as much as this one.

    Just signed up for beginner beer league after not playing for 20+ years. Definitely investing in some elite quality skates, although they'll be lightly used. For me it's about not only protection and stiffness but comfort, light weight, and most include good steel. You can find really good premium skates for under half price hardly used, so unless money is a huge issue, I say at least get the great skates, great stick and maybe great helmet. Everything else can be just good.

    Thanks for the review. And thanks for the final comment regarding beer leaguers! So I wore Bauer 2000's for 30+ years and they fit like slippers. They were falling apart though, so I bought a pair of Vapor X500's maybe 3 years ago, but could never break them in despite multiple attempts (crippling foot pain after 5 minutes of use) so I went back to the Bauer 2000's. A few months ago, the boot of one of my 2000's literally broke and they're no longer usable. Long story short, I had a few days to find new skates that feel good almost immediately. A few trusted guys told me the Ultrasonics had zero break-in time, which was all i really cared about after my experience with the Vapors, and this year's version of the Ultrasonic was the Mach. I caved and bought the Mach's despite the price, I just want a high quality skate that's as comfortable as possible. I am still getting used to the drastic difference in stiffness between the Mach's and my old Bauer 2000's, but the Mach is softening a bit and I can tell it's a terrific skate. I switched my Superfeet from performance to comfort and that made a big difference as well. I'm also sure the Mach's will be the last skates I ever buy so the price is a non-factor if they last half as long as my Bauer 2000's did.

      I also had the Bauer 2000 and to this day I don't think I have skated in a more nimble skate..I for the life of me regret selling it for the Bauer 5000 which skates faster in a straight line but no way was it better if you're an agile faster.

    I got mine on Bauers website and they offer it with/without a steel. I had Bauer Supreme 1S and I went to the Hyperlites (wish I didn’t).. couldn’t get used to it and I just picked up these. This review gives me some piece of mind now ahha.. and pulse Ti is the way to go!!!!

    How much did they pack out, or how much better did they feel after a bake? I like the fit mostly but after wearing in the store for 20 mins, there was a bit of pressure from the tongue around the 3rd eyelet from the toe. Reluctant to drop a grand if this is going to be an issue. Is that tongue thermo formable with that plastic insert?

    Just slipped a pair on tonight at Pure Hockey and put them on hold. I also found a pair of “new” Pro Stock UltraSonic (Custom All Black/ No Yellow) on SidelineSwap for $630 no steel. What would you recommend? MACH or Ultrasonic?

    Hey bro, I wear 7.5 on skates like you, but i don’t like my toe touching the front of the toe cap. You think an 8 would be better? Like, I don’t think the extra room of an 8 should affect anything should it? Thanks bro.

    Hey! hope all is well. I just ordered this skate and can't wait to try it out. However, I'm worried if I ordered the right fit? I don't live near a hockey shop and unfortunately can't test a skate on site, but I have to order via the webshop. My foot is just over 25.5cm long and about 10cm wide. Which fit would you recommend? Sincerely

    • @Ceppi27
      @Ceppi27 Год назад +1

      You have to make length divided width, you get 2.55 that falls within the fit2 band

    • @Skatewithwardo

      Always bake new skates, they are designed to be molded. These ones are a bit trickier than other models but i do them the same as a True skate and shrink wrap them during the process

    Great review, I thought about making a review myself because there just aren’t any. I went from a True TF9 skate to the Mach skate and I probably need to skate a couple more times before I form a serious opinion, but first thoughts, I felt slower and heavier with the Mach skate. I also felt way too far back on my heels and just more flat. I definitely get that’s what super feet are for but for $1100.00 I shouldn’t have to spend anything more for the skate to perform. The look, the comfort is great, but the performance was just not comparable to the True skate. I was very excited to rock these and elevate my game but I feel a True Custom is in my future. Have you worn True ever? I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts on my situation. Thanks

    • @Skatewithwardo
      @Skatewithwardo  Год назад +1

      The TF series has the highest factory heel lift so it will take a lot to get close to that feel.

    • @Chanmantroop10
      @Chanmantroop10 Год назад +3

      The pitch of the skate has nothing to do with how much you pay for it. It's simply how the skate is made and that can easily be adjusted with profiling. Say a skate isn't performing bc of pitch is subjective as some will love how they put you more ok your heels.
