These are the toughest ones the algebra this one might be simple they dont be simple writing the equations! Quadratics are challenging as well

Help me solve this
morter cyclist travels x kilometers at 40 km/hr and y km 50 km/hr the total time taken is two and half hours. if the time taken to travel 6x at 30 km/hr and 4y at 50 km/hr is 14 hrs. find x and y.
