The most fun is rummaging thru our stash, but then I find myself hoarding my treasures. I always enjoy watching your videos Laura. Keep inspiring us. Berta
I agree Roberta! Rummaging is fun and why do we have these treasures unless it’s to use them in a meaningful way? Of course I don’t collect anything that ought to be in a museum! XO
Hello Laura so lovely to see you! Really missed you and the lovely things you make so happy to see what you are going to make with all the beautiful lace ! Caron xxxx
She is just gorgeous - thank you for sharing your wonderful creativity 💖 This is the first video of yours I have watched and I'm falling over my feet to hit the subscribe button! Many thanks again.
I recently found your channel & subscribed. I LOVE your creations. Your tuts are excellent & I am working my way through all of them. It is going to be hard to decide what to make first!
Hi Linda! Sometimes I wash vintage lace, but first I check by smelling. Often I can tell that it is fresh and clean. If it doesn’t smell fresh or looks dirty or stained, I use a plastic dishpan and some warm water and gentle soap. I swish the lace, squeeze out the soap, repeat several times, rinse with clear water and lay flat on a towel to dry.
Hi Sharry! Honestly the only time I use background music is when I am doing something repetitive (such as gathering lace or wrapping yarn) and I speed up the playback. I am definitely not talking during these parts. Also the volume is set to 10%. I’m sorry that you find it distracting. I prefer a cheerful tune to silence. Thank you for watching my tutorial and thank you for your kind and thoughtful comment. XO

I inherited a bunch of handkerchiefs and wanted to make angles, have you made any of these?
'
Yes, I have a handkerchief Angel tutorial- it’s one of my favorite designs! XO
Do you hand wash the pieces before you use them?

FYI the piano music is very distracting. It over powers your voice and I would rather hear what you are saying.
