Aerosmith are an integral part of the history of rock!!!! They’ve been around since the ‘70’s and have rocked us out ever since. Steven Tyler is one of a kind!
They are definitely a blues inspired rock band. You can hear the blues influence in almost all of their songs.
They have an album which is all blues covers, from the artists who influenced them called Honkin' On Bobo.
Aerosmith is a lot like AC/DC in the fact that they have two distinct periods. AC/DC changed singers, but Aerosmith had their drug phase and clean phase, and they are different. The newer Aerosmith is really good, but old school is where it's at.
My husband likes 70's Aerosmith best, I like 90's Aerosmith best lol
Both AC/ DC and Aerosmith are blues based rock bands-which is something she mentioned.
I was in a bar (I have WAY too many stories that start that way) and Love In An Elevator came on and I overheard a woman say "Aerosmith? I didn't know they were still aroumd?" The girl with her replies "Mom, it's a new band, this is their first album." The mom then educated her, and probably got way cooler in her daughters eyes.
Drugs make everything better! Well Until you run out
@@edsq11 I don't know what you're smoking but to say AC/DC is bs is absolute bs. AC/DC is the absolute best of the best (imo)! Not to say that Aerosmith sucks, far from it. They can rock with the best of them. My problem is with people (like you) who state their opinion as if it's fact!
Aerosmith rocks 🎸
I love this song 🎵 Steven Tyler has an unforgettable voice.
Now check out "Amazing" and "Cryin" by Aerosmith. "Crazy" is the 3rd music video in the music video trilogy by Aerosmith. I was 16 and 17 years old then and I absolutely loved these songs and still do. They were released in 93' and 94'. You should have watched the video instead. The singer's daughter is in the video. She's also in the video "I don't want to miss a thing". I could mention so many more by Aerosmith to listen to. But I'll hold back lol.
Dream on will get many requests, Brad and Lex reacted to that during this Aerosmith Live stream. A couple of other older songs I'll recommend are Sweet Emotion and Back in the saddle.
Walk this way with Run DMC
@@tomkat4480 It was nearly done during this live stream. They have been getting a lot of videos blocked lately, so they decided to wait on doing it.
Walk this way and Janies got a gun...
I love your reactions. It's so clear that you both adore one another!
It amazes me some of the songs I see reacted to that no one has heard such classics! Beautiful song
This was a good era for Aerosmith. I always liked this, "Living on the Edge", "Ragdoll", and frankly any of the ones that had Alicia Silverstone or his daughter in the videos... I mean, I WAS a teenage boy at the time!
90s Aerosmith was the best
Pump and Get a Grip were just so good from start to finish.
Well yeah.
You missed their golden era but you can't help the date of your birth.
Yes Alicia. my my my. Too bad she became such a nut.
Lax vibing and Brad laughing makes this rainy Friday much better! Lots of love from Europe, keep on rockin'!
Watch Steven Tyler & Joe Perry from Aerosmith perform Mama Kin & Train Kept a Rolling with Guns N Roses Live in Paris 1992. Two of the greatest frontmen & two lead guitarists on stage together. Absolutely epic.
The music video to this song was the first time I ever saw liv Tyler. 🙂
TOYS IN THE ATTIC ! Bumper
Brad, Please take time to watch Grease with Lex. It is such a classic feelgood movie everybody should watch.
Yo, Aerosmith is my all time favorite band! They have so many good songs. You guys should check out, Dream On, Cryin', and Walk this Way with Run DMC as well!
My favorite songs of Aerosmith are "Otherside" and "Blind man" - still have them on my phone :)
I love both of those songs!
Blind Man for sure! And seasons. My 2 not mainstream fav's.
Those are great songs.
Great reaction! You all should definitely check out “What It Takes”, “Angel”, “Sweet Emotion”, “Back in The Saddle”, “Mama Kin” and “Train Kept a Rollin” by Aerosmith. 👍🏻
Lex has such great insights. I love it when she said "This sounds like all relationships". So so true. The bittersweet nature of love.
Definitely Sweet emotion, Toys in the attic, sick as a dog, very deep catalog.
Love me some Aerosmith... They have been around forever and have always had their own style up front. These are easy on your ears music, nothing too complex, just enjoy the tunes. "Janie's got a gun" or "Blind man" would be nice to hear.
Two favorite Aerosmith songs are "Rag Doll" and "Walk This Way" with Run DMC.
Maaaan you guys make me laugh and love these songs more!!! KEEP IT UP!!!!
Dream on.... Sweet emotion...
They did react to Dream On on the same live stream.
One of the best Rock bands of all time and one the of the greatest Rock singers of all time.
Life is funny... This is one of those bands that I haven't listened to in decades, but get so excited for you two to experience! This is a Bluesy Rock Ballad. Rock Ballads were huge in the 80s, which helped bring the ladies to the shows 😁
"Sweet Emotion" and "Dream On" are songs you need to react to, even if you discover you've heard them in the past 🤘🤘
Also, watch the movies "Dazed and Confused" (last day of High School 1976) and "Rock Star" (Marky Mark is an 80s Hair Metal lead singer and the movie is Totally... Freakin'... Awesome!!!).
I’ve never seen a girl I love those guitar solos like she does. It’s awesome
The Toxic Twins, the nickname Steve Tyler and Joe Perry earned back in the 70's for their drug habits. During one concert performance, Steve Tyler drug intake was so high he flaked out and had to be carried off stage.
'Going down in an elevator' is a spicy one to check out, or for a darker Aerosmith, Janey's Got A Gun.
Great reaction and breakdown of the song from you both 👍👏👏👏
Love In An Elevator.
@@tedfebo1741 You're right. My bad.
Aerosmith is classic. It's rock, but very palatable.
The videos for Crying and Crazy are really good. I used to listen to these songs back in the 90s on the radio.
Love me some Aerosmith. The dark haired girl in the video is his daughter, with Alicia Silverstone. The 80s and 90s imo were top game Aerosmith.
They play harder stuff but alot does have a blues overtones
Soon you're at 100k followers, well deserved :)
U should have watched it with the original video. Steven Tyler's daughter is in it, it's a fun-video.
Check out the music video for this song. The singers daughter Liv Tyler is in it, with Alicia Silverstone,
Love watching you guys react to music, and discover as artists, genres, bands, and sounds. Dude focuses hard on and gets lost in the music...she appreciates the music as well, but really analytically takes in the lyrics....during and after some of the songs they have reacted to I have been surprised to hear her take on the story, songs I've heard a hundred times and her understanding of the same song and it's story pleasantly suprises me by showing a perspective or point of view that I never considered. You guys go together, bookends, and in these videos, it works so well. You guys keep it up, please...awesome!
Oh my goodness Grease is my husbands favorite movie lol . Big ole Biker and knows every song can also recite the whole movie .
Rag Doll, Love in an elevator, Dream On, I love them all!!!
I think this might be considered a 80s Rock Ballad
Crazy was 90s, not 80s.
NOW you're getting into deep 90s epic realms of anthemic golden hits that are non-existent in today's song writing. Brace for impact.
Armerosmith is rock but heavily influenced by blues and probably jazz too. The lead singers father was a classically trained musician and I’ve heard Steven Tyler talk about how growing up he used to sit under his dad’s piano while his dad played. You don’t see Steven play often but I think he plays several instruments but his most seen instrument (besides his voice) is the harmonica. A lot of people will say the music from the 80’s and later are not as good but I like every decade of their music. It’s different but what people fail to realize is that musicians grow and consequently the music changes a little. Plus Steven talks about how he used to change his vocals when they first started because he wanted to sound like a blues singer.
AEROSMITH is another iconic group like 👑Queen👑. Their catalog is crazy...👊👍😎
Steven Tyler: “The Demon of Screamin”
Rock bands from this era usually have thier rock hits and a couple ballads. You just happen to land on a more ballady type song from this band.
Love Aerosmith!! Their song Ragdoll shows some of Steven's "scat" style of singing. Great reaction!! 🙂
Great band, but they lost me after the Draw the Line album, when they became much more pop/commercial. Try "Sweet Emotion," which might be their most popular early hard rock song. Pretty sure your sub base would love to hear you do the earlier, rawer tunes. "Last Child," "Seasons of Wither" or the ubiquitous "Walk This Way," are good examples. Dream On, is of course their biggest hit ever, and was on their first LP, as well. Cheers
Don't forget Kings and queens
Not only is Lex beautiful and has such a beautiful spirit she is so intelligent and INSIGHTFUL! She always sees the deep meanings of these songs and it’s so easy for her. She is an old soul and very wise. Brad has a great smile and should use it more! :)I love when he lets his guard down…
✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼☮️☮️☮️
The first rock band I got into. This lead to The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen, Beatles, etc. They will always have a special place in my heart as the first rock band to make me fall for rock music!
“Feels more like…jazz?…no, blues”
Rock evolved out of R&B and still carries strong echos of it. You may have noticed some of similarity when you reacted to freebird.
Another group that I don’t hear reacted to but who carries strong R&B vibes is the Kenny Wayne Sheppard Band. Their song Blue On Black is a great play…love the sound of the steel guitar.
Kenny is incredible
I love her reaction when he hits that e5 note at the end 😂
The Power Ballad , Aerosmith became experts in delivering the 80's Power Ballad. But they are a great Rock band with some real gems in their past, Big 10 inch Record, Rag Doll, Dream On, Sweet Emotion, Bsck in The saddle
You should see the size of this guy's mouth. Legendary
They have so many great songs. You guys should also do the songs Cryin and What It Takes
Grease is one of my fave movies! I love Aerosmith! Especially their old songs!
I still feel driving around in my '71 Toyota Corolla listening to Aerosmith Toys In the Attic on 8-track. Too old to actually remember it, but I can still feel it.
have you guys reviewed their collaboration with RUN DMC?
No, they reacted to the original version on the live stream, clip is on the channel.
Much better Aerosmith out there. They are older and out of rehab. They sound tired. Please try there older Rockin stuff.
Train kept a rollin
Lord of the Thighs
Draw the line
Kings and Queens
Big 10 inch
Back in the saddle
You already did some of their more commercial hits. Thank you for your openness. 👍🏼🤘🏼🔥
This song is from Get a Grip which is probably their best album (in my opinion at least).
Get a Grip was very commercially popular and very very full of commercial content. Have you heard old Aerosmith? Very NOT commercial and caused a ton of controversy…you know…ROCK AND ROLL.
@@tanks4dmemories662 Aerosmith is my all-time favorite band. There's not a single thing they've put out that I haven't heard, Ive read their autobiography, the whole nine-yards lol, so yes I definitely know their older stuff. I have to disagree with you though, I don't think their older content is better than the Get a Grip, Permanent Vacation era. Not to downplay their older stuff from the 70's at all, it's classic and some of my favorite songs are from the Toys in the Attic album, but in terms of album as a whole, nothing tops Get a Grip for me. Just Push Play is also an incredibly underrated album as well. There are a lot of really good tracks on that album.
Older stuff is better IMO
@@TwistedSisler just push play is fantastic. Not a bad song on that album.
Lex said "I'm about us and me"
One of Steven Tyler's very best vocal performances. Love Perry's solo too. Just fantastic
Watch the video, you'll fall in love with this song.
Aerosmith been around a long time...my favorite band when in high school. Songs like "Train Kept a Comin" were constantly on the system in my 76 Triumph Spitfire. Oh yeah. Tiny car with 4 Jensen Tri-axials, each with its own amp. Good times.
Train Kept a Rollin' it called
If you want to hear the range of Tyler's voice I would recommend nobody's fault and back in the saddle
Yes ! The entire Rocks album is good
Aw, I loved yall reaction. I love this song, I love Aerosmith ♡ one of my favorites is eat the rich and living on the edge from Aerosmith. But they have a lot of amazing songs
Aerosmith is amazing....really versatile. They have lovely ballads like this one and "Crying", rock anthems like "Dream On", and really fun pop-rock like "Pink". There are SO many great ones! Some of my favorites are "Janie's Got a Gun", "Angel", and "What it Takes".
Angel, Janey's Got A Gun, Permanent Vacation...those are three good ones to check out.
Aerosmith ;
Pink
Cryin
Mysery (feat Pink)
Livin on the Edge
Amazing
Circle
Hole in my Soul
Look for the Videos of these Songs, the are Great!!!
Greetings from Vienna, Austria ✌
Pre Neon, Classic Brad and Lex...
Janies got a gun,is my fave aerosmith !
Living On The Edge was a really good one from Aerosmith too, also quite a bit of popculture in it with Alicia Silverstone and Edward Furlong when he was younger and just starring in Terminator etc appearing in their video. But the song itself is also really well done with great harmonics.
Alicia Silverstone was in Crazy and Cryin' clips with Liv Tyler and Stephen Dorff not living on the edge
The way she said "sounds like all relationships", I think we all laughed
“Don’t want to miss a thing”. Please react to that!
Aerosmith is Rock and every Rock band makes a ballad or two....that's what this is; a Ballad
The video has his daughter in ittt 💃
Aerosmith…..St John ….from their Permanent Vacation album ✌️
The lesser known tracks on Permanent Vacation are so good!
Lex is just the cutest thing lol
Crazy how many times he says crazy in this crazy a** song! 😂
How about "Walk this way" Run DMC featuring Aerosmith , bit commercial but two ends of different genre meet somewhere in the middle.
welcome to the Rock Power Ballad. A whole two and a half decades were dedicated to perfecting the style. This is pretty damn near the apex of this particular type of music.
Oh this guy and his lyrics.. the video for this was an iconic 90s video i remember it in 5/6th grade
Living on the Edge!!!!!!!!!
"Livin on the edge"!
I'm Proud to say Grew up listen' to Aerosmith cuz there a Home State Band!! Like J Geils band back in the late 70's into the 80s, Home State True Rockerzzz with Pizzazz Great Stuff!!!
'Aerosmith - Same Old Song and Dance' to really hear the Blues influence.
You guys should check out the music video for this at some point. Its got Alicia Silverstone and Liv Tyler in it. Its a classic in and of itself.
Anything from the 70's bangin
Im not the biggest Aerosmith fan but they got some good songs...
*I dont wanna miss a thing* is a pretty good one too. I see you haven't done that one yet. Unless you guys already heard it. Its a Pretty popular song if not the most popular and was in the movie Armageddon... Great movie btw...
One of my favorite
Time for Eddie Van Halen "Eruption solo live".....
I love Grease. When I was a kid, I just wanted to be a T-Bird. Wanted the leather jacket and all that. I have owned several at this point.
Listen to Nobody's Fault off of the Rocks Album. Steven Tyler is known as the King of Scream. His vocal range is amazing. His Daughter is Actress Liv Tyler.
It's Rock N Roll. Just because it's Aerosmith. They've been around a very long time. I grew up listening to these guys.
Always used to hit Jaded on the Juke box in the pub first drink .
what a voice!
Sweet emotion
Aerosmith is a blues band at their core. Can't go wrong with them. Tons of great songs and videos. Check out amazing, or cryin' both from the same album as crazy.
They became the king of the ballets
Aerosmith are the best rock band ever from the USA. Been going since 1970 & produced some epic songs. Sweet Emotion & Dream On are a MUST along with Amazing (epic Joe Perry guitar solo) & Janie Got A Gun
One of the great rock bands of all time. You need to listen to Dream On, Walk This Way, Dude Looks Like a Lady, Eat The Rich and Heart's Done Time. Hard to find a better voice than Steven Tyler. He even has an amazing duet with Carey Underwood.
With Steven Tyler is the lead singer is so exciting. If you react to another Aerosmith song, please watch the video and not the lyrics. He's such a fantastic performer!
Aerosmith are legends. My first CD I bought in '98 (13) was the "Nine Lives" album, I should not of probably had. The Album art was far more mature than I was. "Pink" was their single that got a lot of attention from the album, but the album itself was a story of love and loss and I want to say realization, but it was half a lifetime ago.
It was all rock and roll back in the day.
im glad this video had the e6 high note many cut that off, its also often confused with a guitar they dont call him the demon of screaming for nothing
