They really show off in this song. Kevin kills it, Avi clearly isn't human, Scott with his falsetto and Mitch rapping rocks and you can't forget Kirsty with "tell em Mitch"
There is nothing wrong with admiring Avi. He is a great man with an incredibly good voice. But there is nothing wrong with being gay or bisexual either! ❤️

There is nothing wrong with admiring Avi, none at all. But there are some people who do nothing but comment stuff about Avi on anything that involves Matt. Especially on Instagram. They are both so different but both so talented and they both fit really well with PTX.

Thanks for giving Avi the props he deserves for his part in this song. Most reactors don't even mention him. (And by the way, that "Listen to me" has become the ringtone and/or alarm clock tone for some of his Avi-cionados.)

Their original song Can't Sleep Love has a version with a rap feature as well as without. The "official" has a guest rapper but the live has Mitch doing it (as well as killing it in other ways!) & it's 1 of the 3 originals in the Popspring video. I highly recommend!!!

Their change up of lyrics is often in deference to Kevin's religious beliefs, not necessarily a change for their fan base.
In this song the change in lyrics with Mitch rapping mitchy mitchy had nothing to do with Kevin or inappropriate words he was just replacing iggy izalia's lyrics of iggy iggy that she sings in her rap in the original song.
I think you would really enjoy mitch's solo project as Messer. I would recommend "Machine" by messer.

Mitch didn’t change up any inappropriate lyrics here he says mitchy mitchy in place of Iggy Iggy. Just saying his name like the original said hers. He did however use his name in place of the B word in Starships also. Which I guess is also Mitch rapping. A little bit of Kirstie too. It’s an old one as it was their very first official video away from their couch and apartment videos. Yes Matt and Kevin rap in butter/dynamite but they also rap in joyful joyful. Look for the live evergreen experience version. Mitch will blow you away in that one too. Just not for his rapping.
I second the recommendation for Joyful, Joyful (Live from the Evergreen Experience) on the channel QUARTERPASTFOURR. It's just ridiculously good and incredibly fun.

I think some of the bass beats are actually Kevin doing a beatbox technique. And when they do this live Kevin has to do the whisper ("one less problem") AND the snare beats. There is NOTHING wrong with a bit of Avi-love. He's AVI! I mean, that voice... Seriously, you have to check out his solo 'Change on the Rise'.
There is one area of Pentatonix that you haven't yet seen at all, and that is Kevin Celloboxing. You really have to see their cover of 'Radioactive' by Imagin Dragons. You just really need to. You won't be disappointed.

I posted on Mary Did You Know the other day as my mom had passed away, super super hard day today as it's my sons' 15th bday and my mom lived with us and was so excited to get to have my son drive her around :) She helped plan his first 14 years worth of parties. All of my son's friends came to her funeral as she was at all of their school and sports events since they were in preschool. Got on your page today and going back through reactions I've already watched because they make me smile and I need that bad today! Thank you can't express enough how thankful I am of people who take time out of their own days to bring sunshine to others

Such a great cover, and always enjoy your sense of humour. I especially love that little chuckle you have after saying something amusing. There's so much to admire about Avi that it definitely crosses gender and orientation. Excellence can be acknowledged by anyone. A lot of Avi's recent solo work appeals particularly to guys (like Chains, Change on the Rise, etc.). Some of us are more affected by the deeper registers than others, too. For me, I hear his voice in my gut, and then it travels right down to my feet and connects me with Mother Earth. So I can connect with anyone who appreciates that lower resonance. Keep being you!
AvI has something special I can’t remember what it’s called but he can hum a higher note while at the same time dropping those deep beats. Pretty cool ❤

i highly recommend you check out Superfruit's (Mitch and Scott's) cover of Feeling Myself. Mitch raps and because Superfruit is more PG13 than PTX is, the lyrics are definitely a bit risqué!
