It is rare I see an oil burner down here .... yet I still like to watch your service videos. You make it look easy as pie.
Steve’s like Liberty Mutual, only pay for what you need!
“Keep it simple” is definitely the way to roll with a small business. Cheers to your continued success.
I always start at the tank and do the filter and open the firomatic for a second to get pink, I then do a quick bleed at the pump to pull anything to the strainer and pull it out and clean it off and replace the gasket, then I do the regular bleed and pull the drawer assembly and out to my van to clean it up with brake clean and do my nozzle.
Being an oil tech myself I'm always amazed at why theres always a damn dryer by the burner and linting up the intake and squirrel cage
I like your video's I learn a lot. THANKS
Steve doing the annual maintenance mama. People will appreciate you when them boilers are 25 years old and still kicking.
Whatever happened to the chickens and the trackless machine and other backyard projects? I liked seeing those from time to time. Or did I just miss them?
Good job, keep simply stumbling 👍🏽
No vac, no filter, no strainer change man Idk not how we do it NY... Yes you can gauge how it’s running with draft but give em a real service...
I don't know if you have any Milwaukee stuff Steve but I got one of those cordless handheld vacuums from them. The thing is the cats ass for vacuuming areas like the pump on that boiler even inside the boiler, it's got a HEPA filter. It was like 100 bucks at Home Depot worth every penny. Take it easy
Good work Steve. Good tradesmen with experience are getting hard to find. Thanks for the video.
Good logic on the KISS method Steve.
Keep it simple. No drama as much as possible. In life you have to make decisions how you want it to be.. Godspeed. 🤙🤙🥂
Steve how much do you charge for a annual cleaning on a oil burner system I'm just curious what the going rate is thank you for the videos..
another warm house thanks to Steven!!
Why don't you change the filter? There frigin cheap and it gets COLD in February!
I love your videos but damm I want a new filter.
I'd like to know witch Oil Boiler you would Own? And Why.
Steve what's your take on new refrigerant changes. With r32 being like propane they say we will be limited to brazing may be forced into zoom lok
leave it to the government to screw things up is all i can say
Fantastic as always! 👍
I`ve yet to see you have to replace the electrodes. Pretty rare event? Often heard you declare them "pretty cooked", though.
Afternoon Steve!
hello
Walmart carb cleaner and brake cleaner is $1.97. Other stores charge double that.
Thanks again for the videos!
I thought the cleaning was more for efficiency on an oiler?
🍺🍺🍺🥃🥃🎯🍿🏌🏻♀️
Stay safe.
Retired (werk'n)keyboard super tech. Wear your safety glasses!
Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again y’all. 👍👍
hello
Steve do you raise your own turkey for Thanksgiving besides having chickens
Steve leads a Simple life fo real....more than he knows🙃
Steven, that’s what Miss Molly is for to relieve your stress 👍
@10:22 the brown Taco circulator is installed incorrectly; the motor has to be installed horizontally, also the BX clamp is busted and there’s no anti-short bushing in there. Rest of that setup looks pretty good though.
Looks like a low water cutoff to me???
@@jw404 it’s a Taco 007 pump but it certainly doesn’t look like it was put in by the person who did the rest of that installation. Low water cut-off would be for steam boilers rather than hot water boiler systems.
Hey guys quick question how often should i vacuum the boiler?
I try to brush and vacuum mine every year
@@garagekeys ok thanks
That's how the outside of my nozzle looks after a year.
Does the garage have enough heat
to warm the oil tank?
Five zones, no need to bleed air?
How cold does the garage get? If it stays above freezing, then yes.
You only need to bleed air when the system has been opened.
Steve's a real pro. Not a lot of guys will work on oil these days near me. Its dirty work, sure, but the $$ is still green so I don't mind!
Steve aren’t you suppose to measure the electrode heads before you put them back in
He has set so many that he eyeballs them for the proper position.
He measured...MK 1 eyeball.
No need to if you do so many you can just see the right distance for the gap
Are you new? Steve has done countless of these
@@jw404 just asking…
Do you still have chickens
Molly is still number one in popularity but the chickens are running a close second today.
another rerun.....
First comment yippee
hello mark
