The defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan won his seventh Masters title, defeating Joe Perry in the final 10-7. By winning the event, O'Sullivan broke the record of the most Masters titles, which he had jointly held with Stephen Hendry before the tournament. This was also the first time that the title had been successfully defended since Paul Hunter won the event in 2001 and 2002. Marco Fu compiled the highest break of the tournament, scoring a 141 in his semi-final match against O'Sullivan.
One and only ronny the rocket! 30 years play in very high level in he is the beast! No ronny no snooker! I love watch all his match. Respect from Slovenija. The live legend! 🔥💪🇸🇮
The greatest 20 majors 37 ranking titles the most premier leagues the most centuries and 147s keeping hendry Higgins Williams Selby robbo ding trump now Wilson at bay entertaining us for decades keeping snooker afloat in the most competitive era ever keeping sponsors happy and viewing figures up all on his own terms never been a slave to the game or politically perfect...... His longevity like his achievements like returning to world number 1 at 43 after winning the inaugural coral series beating judd again and Robbo again in the final then winning the world's for the 6th time in a format he does not enjoy is simply legendary, his aura and presence is unique nobody like him everything he does makes headlines 🔥
As a massive O'Sullivan fan I think he played the best snooker of his career from 04 to 14 and the rest was a bonus despite not being quiet as brilliant as he was but it's got to be the best bonus a fan can ask for.The best to ever do it and his record 20 majors will stand the test of time.
I would say the way he played to win the 2022 world title was 1 of his best. He was totally focused and he beat David Gilbert in the first round after coming from 3-0 down, Mark Allen, Stephen Maguire, then 2 opponents he's had trouble beating in John Higgins and then Judd Trump to win his 7th. I believe he would have beaten anybody in last year's world's. Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, Mark Williams, as he really wanted that title and you could see at the end how much it had taken out of him being 46 years old and still beating the likes of Judd Trump and Mark Allen who are quite a bit younger than Ronnie.
Indeed!! I'm from the USA and your channel has gotten me interested into watching Snooker, what a great game!! Thanks for the vids. A match like this isn't for a new viewer, but after learning the rules.... You clipped this so well, showing us the important stuff.
''I'll tell you when I'm finished'' - I consider my generation the luckiest of all , I saw The Rock when he first came on the scene, the writing was on the wall, for 30 years I have watched this man remain the man to beat, I aren't sure how long he can keep it up, there will certainly never be a player who will The Rocks longevity.
Ronnie O'Sullivan defended his title in 2017 and almost faced the exits when Liang Wenbo, the 2015 UK Championship finalist missed the black. After winning the deciding frame with a century break, he faced Neil Robertson which Ronnie prevailed and then Marco Fu, a repeat of the previous month's UK Championship semi final. No deciding frame unlike at York but it was hard fought, Ronnie edged it 6-4. His opponent in the final was Joe Perry, I think he was a previous Crucible semi finalist. I think the last meeting was the 2014 World Championship that turned out to be an epic, Ronnie edged it 13-11 coming from behind. He did exactly the same after Perry had a lead, eventually winning 10-7.
было бы круто набрать в игре благодаря фолу соперника 151 очко), интересно или такое бывало в официальных поединках, и возможно ли такое вообще? THX, Great channel. Good luck.
Watching this match from 2017 .a fantastic match and a brilliant win for Ronnie, and when you think just two years later the world would be in the grip of a deadly virus'.
I concur ... i miss the making of a pattern with the balls on the table that leads to a possible high-scoring break. There were times when I wanted to know HOW the balls got into the position that we do get to see.
I get that he is popular and maybe 90% of people watching are there because of him. But my god, it is annoying seeing the crowd cheer like a football stadium whenever the opponent misses a ball....
I know ronnie is the greatest but some of the fans need to get out of his arse. Its like going to a football ground and being filled with supporters of one team...
Na more like Nadal with shots know one can do top spin and nada is better than Federer he beat him more times and beat him in more grandslams 3 of them are on 20 majors

O'Sullivan's best is still the best the game has ever been played
Whaching him playing is like to seeing the stars (universe going around and around) following in place).

Plandemic
With all these cuts we lose the best feature of O'Sullivan's game, i.e. the construction of the break
I concur ... i miss the making of a pattern with the balls on the table that leads to a possible high-scoring break. There were times when I wanted to know HOW the balls got into the position that we do get to see.
Go watch the original match not complicated.
I remember that match against Liang. Was rooting for Ronnie but felt so bad for Liang missing that black. Could see that Ronnie felt bad for him too.
Goat
1:36 balls looks like R so no doubt about that🥶🥶🥶
Liang in the 10th match there for the black.. ouch!!!!
I am so confused by the edits. Are there shots missing or what?
Yes,lots of shots were not shown, it was basically hi lights
I love ronnie but wow hes lucky to have won that masters how Liang missed that black
Ronnie O'Sullivan is so lucky, in nearly was out in the first section if Liang didn't miss the black ball
🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Ronnie breaths* everyone - go on Ronnie!
Is Ronnie not the greatest side pocket player of all time?
It is not even discussed :)
Everything is possible with Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit and God Almighty 🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏
What, 2+2 could even equal 5 ? What an utterly ridiculous thing for you to claim. Christianity rots the brain.
5 years ago, crikey!
Wouldn't be surprised if he missed black on purpose
I get that he is popular and maybe 90% of people watching are there because of him. But my god, it is annoying seeing the crowd cheer like a football stadium whenever the opponent misses a ball....

The kind window aditionally charge because treatment sadly repair towards a incompetent vessel. thankful, accurate action
The random word generator strikes again. Utterly incomprehensible.
Na more like Nadal with shots know one can do top spin and nada is better than Federer he beat him more times and beat him in more grandslams 3 of them are on 20 majors
تنتت
The ambitious passive secondly form because swing chronically snow till a spectacular sausage. enchanted, billowy sound
Was this sentence composed by a random word generator ? If not, it might as well have been.
Disappointing ....just a collection of shots. Snooker is so much more than cutting to just one shot after another! Thumbs Down.
Fuck off
