Great analysis! I can relate Signed up for the military at 17, though I was going to be a warrior. Now as a grandma my best work was being a mother. Wish I had understood true femininity earlier.

Can we get one of these for Aragorn being such a good example of Masculinity?

A powerful character analysis! Especially for someone who struggles with her own feminine identity. Strangely enough, Eowyn has always held a soft space in my heart - this video brought to light why! ❤

Éowyn is easily one of the best characters in fiction and top 5 in the Lord of the Rings.
Faramir’s my favorite though. 👍 God Bless. 🙏🏻

What is true femininity? are we saying that women can't be warriors. I have seen and heard plenty of good stories of women in the military. Are you saying that women don't belong there? Are you saying women don't really want independence, like the feminist movement seems to claim. What is Love to a women? What is/should love be to a man? What is it in Aragorn/ faramir that kindles her heart. How does someone know what or when a man and a women want the same thing. What is it that both should be looking for? As a young man who grew up around female siblings. I feel just as clueless as if I had only grown up around men, which I didn't. I don't understand why both men and women want to clam up when these kind of discussion questions come about? Why can't we have open dialog about how we truly are and not this silence stuff? What are people afraid of? All I ever wanted was the truth.

And yet in some sense she was meant to act out her warrior impulse in order to fulfil the prophecy about the Witch King. A true myth irreducible to any one particular message or metaphor

Im pretty sure it was Jesus, not Mary, who crushed the serpent. Other than that, great video!
