    Well when you pick radius on most biotic powers, you are really slowing down the pace of combat overall and are more in control of whats happening. When you pick every radius evolution, combo and others. You end up having ridiculously huge areas you can control.

    The story mode is pretty interesting, a little fine tuning like being able to equip more abilities, more fluid gameplay and totally re-do the multiplayer (it was just terrible) and Mass Effect Andromeda would be fun to play.

    I want consistent Biotic explosions, using throw to detonate, is that possible with shielded and armored enemies?

  • @tjn74

    Two things.
    First is that Nova provides immunity frames during it's animation. It's still not in the upper half of the active abilities, but it is useful in the multiplayer for that specific get out of jail free ability. The nerf from ME3's 200% cooldown bonus to the max of 100% in ME:A from weapon loadout kinda killed the chaining the immunity frames from charge into nova into charge into nova, ad infinitum, but the skill is still decent specifically because of those immunity frames.
    Second is the last evolution in charge. If you aren't going with the fusion mod that refreshes abilities on kill, the extreme reduction in the cooldown means that the buff from the level five evolution is always up, plus it gives you the ability to gain multiple shield-gates rapidly (on top of double/triple the immunity frames). I suppose the DR is nice and all, but that's what Kinetic Coils are for, and in multiplayer, the additional shield-gates or the ability to reliably gtfo of a bad situation are far more useful than the DR.

    cool vid m8! any chance u can make a video demonstrating just how small is 3 meter in game? or how small is annihilate wihout any buff from anywhere, i cant c clearly just hoe big is the radius of it

    In my opinion if you want to spec on charge and annihilation or any other colse range skill you need also to spec on combat fitness for extra survivability at least that's what am doing right now but without the charge and annihilation, i play as adept on normal so i might get them later. Also new players need to focus on the passives skills first take one or two active early and than focus on those passives (Barrier, Offensive Biotics, Containment) for extra biotic damage, and shield boost

    Here is a quick guide for those who came because of the title. The best biotic skills for insanity are:
    - Backlash against shooting enemies
    - Nova and shockwave against animals
    I never used anything else in my insanity playthroughs.

    For charge if you run adept profile rank 4 radius is superior to rank 4 damage and force because of the aoe dmg buff in the adept profile. You can get 40% aoe biotic dmg buff with and you also get biotic force buff. Combined with adept profile you get the same damage and force buff over a base radius of 3.5 which is massively buffed further by one of the other biotic skills and the adept profile. Why wouldn't you even if you don't max the tree out you get at least the same damage and force buffs give or take. I hit multiple targets all the time with aoe charge and the cd is so low base with the right gear you get perhaps .5 faster cd with vanguard profile. Unless you are focusing on melee primarily and not power spam aoe is the way to go. I'm also pretty sure nova has s.

    I get the feeling you are heavily reliant on guns until high levels and not a true biotic that forsakes guns.
    Pull and throw have low cool downs to clear out trash and are critical in early stages where it is hard to have a lot of recharge speed. Once trash are cleared from the safety of cover, can switch to other powers that have strong burst or anti shield\anti armor. Early the force is great for taking trash out of fight, later the force is a liability as they get stuck in all sorts of weird places.
    Charge is a great (and fun!) tool but takes heavy investment to get full shields. Otherwise can get you into trouble and also the invalid target bug makes it risky.
    Nova is a powerful anti-armor skill, something biotics have in short supply, and also nice burst damage too. There are situations where range becomes an issue like ascendant executions. Shield cost is not really worth it, as shield cost lance is more effective use of shields.
    Singularity is probably the most versatile skill. Great for crowd control short range when being overrun, priming shielded and armored targets from range. Duration is way more important than radius. Usually the difference between getting a detonator off cool down an extra time.
    Shockwave does less damage with longer cool down than nova, and its slow speed can mean enemies move before its extra range is reached anyway.
    Annihilation is a niche skill for a true biotic. Only combos well with charge + lance where the cool down impact does not matter much. Even then Nova or Singularity can be used as part of the combo just as well.
    Lance is strong skill based attack early game. The decision point is when to switch to shield cost version. Requires decent vanguard profile, and max shields charge, but does insane burst damage when you can charge then cast 4-5 lances.
    Backlash takes decent investment to get health up before it becomes useful. At that point it becomes handy, but generally will always opt for other skills that increase damage output.

    does charge power synergy work with spaming charge itself with low cooldowns?

    • @Khrazegaming
      @Khrazegaming  7 лет назад

      Charge can be brought down to a 4-5 second cooldown (second rank in it and other passives in the biotic tier). The Power Syngergy buff and the one from Bastion lasts 5 second. By the time it expires, you can cast charge again and have almost 100% uptime on both of those buffs (so 20% + 35%). which in my opinion is better.
      In short, Bastion will be the way better perk 99% of the time.

    STOPPED WATCHING WHEN YOU SAID PULL WAS NOT RECOMMENDED. Pull is awsome and the ONLY combo worth doing is Pull, Singularity and Throw.... Set signularity to strip shields. this makes the game easy mode no matter the difficulty.

    You didn't tell me what the best abilities were you just went over each ability.

    • @Khrazegaming
      @Khrazegaming  7 лет назад +4

      I did. When going over each ability, I said if it's good or not for insanity and which ranks would be the best to pick.
      If you want a tl;dr, Charge/Anihilation/Lance are extremely good for insanity, while Singularity/Throw/Bastion can be good vs groups of mobs, but not big enemies.
      Nova and Pull was something I completely skipped for insanity. Pull especially since it doesn't affect anything but small unshielded enemies.

  • @sinosleep007
    @sinosleep007 7 лет назад +3

    Why does it seem like no one ever mentions the fact that the charge bug (invalid target) that's been in the game since ME 2 is STILL around? Sure sometimes casting on another enemy will fix it, but often times it doesn't and if you're on your last target (usually the big health hard hitting one) and it fucks up you have no one else to cast it on. It's a giant pain in the ass since the auto-saving is actually worse in andromeda than in previous games. It's why even though vanguard was my favorite build since ME 2 I dropped it in andromeda.

    • @sinosleep007
      @sinosleep007 7 лет назад

      I'm not debating whether it's a good ability or not, it's always been a good ability, but it's still bugged to shit and the autosaves are actually worse in the game making the bug that much more of an issue. I put about 30 hours into a charge centric build and had to give it up due to getting the charge bug like every 2 or 3 battles.

    • @sinosleep007
      @sinosleep007 7 лет назад +1

      Meh, I kicked the shit out of ME 2 and ME 3 on insanity using charge as my primary skill. I also don't see what the other skills have to do with anything. My point was fairly simple. Charge is buggy as shit and no one ever seems to mention it only proclaiming it as the greatest thing since sliced bread. I just find it odd is all.

      Ok so I specced Peebs out of pull, haven't had a single charge failure since I did. NOT. A. SINGLE. ONE. If it wasn't for my posting here I would have never known that it had anything to do with my squad and would have continued to ignore charge even though it's been my favorite ability since ME 2.
      As far as other squadmates go guess I'll have to test with other biotic primers to see if they cause the same issue. Can't thank you enough for posting that bit of intel Spghetti monster.

  • @AkodoNoEyes
    @AkodoNoEyes 7 лет назад

    You can make it so Nova doesn't take that much shields to use with the Vanguard profile. And if you have your armor with the fusion mod you get shields upon a kill you can spam Nova a lot. Also set up with the ability to get shields upon a Melee attack, Nova is just nuts.

    • @Khrazegaming
      @Khrazegaming  7 лет назад +1

      Technically speaking, all skills "work" on any difficulty. The matter is how well do they work. Nova is ok vs normal enemies. Everything else and it's kinda bad.

    • @tedliu8931
      @tedliu8931 7 лет назад

      think you would have to define 'normal', sure you cannot use it in boss fight like the destroyer and the architect......it would be a deathwish, but it's good for the rest of the enemies.
      You make it sound like Nova only work on a handful of enemies by saying 'Everything else and it's kinda bad', while so far I use it on everything else except for the destroyer and the architect.
      You also mentioned in the video, the nova animation make you static, it's actually a short invulnerable phase just like the charge, so you can 'take a breath' in between actions and let other skills to cool down
      And the Nova 'shield powered', oh man if you are vanguard you could spam the shit out of enemies, you just need to build around with it-
      Barrier -
      Biotic Alacrity (+10% Biotic Power Shield Cost Reduction)
      Active barrier (Shields Restored on Biotic Kill: 10%)
      Charge -
      either shock trooper (75% recharge rate) or Bastion (shield restore 100%)
      Vanguard:
      Natural shield restoration on melee attack and 35% Power Shield Cost Reduction
      You know how in early game when you encounter a kett camp you have to get off the Nomad, stay behind cover and pick the ketts out one by one? Now you could just rush the Nomad in the middle of the ketts, get off the Nomad and start killing, no dodging around.
      One word - unstoppable.

    Try pull (hold version) and throw with a mass of cryo-frozen enemies (using cryo beam) for some devastating results even on max level insanity

    • @Khrazegaming
      @Khrazegaming  7 лет назад

      It's fun, but still situational. The fact that you can't lift shielded enemies gimps it too much. And on insanity, the small un-shielded enemies will be the least of your concerns.

    • @phoenixevo87
      @phoenixevo87 7 лет назад

      There are quite a few reasons why pull is still viable on insanity. On one of my current character builds, I have pull spec'd with lance and energy drain while using the adept profile. This allows me to pull unshielded enemies (and there's plenty amongst the shielded enemies in just about every encounter/enemy type) and upon detonating them will make short work of enemy shields thanks to biotic echoes and energy drain detonations. Combining energy drain with lance I can strip shields quite quickly on enemies that are still shielded. Biotic echo also ensures that most enemies are constantly crowd controlled (thanks to pull's quick cooldown). Also, combined with any high DPS weapon it's quite a capable build.
      The pull+throw combo with cryo beam basically turns mass amounts of unshielded enemies into bombs that you can just chuck at any enemy (or blow them up into the ground/wall if you please). It also takes unshielded enemies out of battle so you can focus on dealing with the tougher enemies (using the same profile to bomb them with frozen enemies while using your guns). Through personal experience, I find that pull can be quite versatile/viable on insanity or situational depending on how it's spec'd, just like with any other power such as charge

    • @Duelli75
      @Duelli75 7 лет назад +1

      It synergies pretty good with Coras cryo ammo. Because she will target any enemy near you when you are not giving orders. Unshielded foes are just ammo to throw at armor or shielded targets. They actually track the target so you can't really miss. It doesn't do much against shields but for that Vetras disruptor ammo can help. She is a bit more lazy then Cora with targeting foes you grab, but it works, too.
