Really sad that after decades of development, Adobe still hasn't developed a better and more user friendly way of matching colors. If the Match Color tool had actually been developed past version 1, imagine how good it could have been. Unfortunately, like so many other tools, Adobe abandoned the Match Color twenty years ago.

At 2.50 when you drag the selection onto the image title you are pasting into the greyed out title becomes white and the image opens to allow you to paste the selection.
When I try this the title remains greyed out and the image does not open what am I doing wrong
In the top left area of your screen, make sure "Auto-select" is unchecked.
why are you saving it as a gif?
It can be saved also as PNG-8.
