I made this subscriber battle video to help myself better visualize and appreciate just how many of you guys there really are that support my work. Also, it was fun and I thought it could be a fun video. : )
My last video game was played by FusionZGamer, Dawko, 8-BitRyan, special edd, and even IShowSpeed played my game for some reason. Of course there are other RUclipsrs and streamers who played my games, but I can't list everyone here. I now have more subscribers than I expected, so inspired by other videos like Dani (Danidev's) I Turned RUclips into a Giant Battle Royale Game, I made my own subscriber battle video. This is pretty silly since I only have two other videos, but 20,000 is a lot of subs, and I can't leave it unnoticed.
This war simulation is like Totally Accurate Battle Simulator since it is 1v1 teams, but this time there is paintball, tanks, and nuclear bombs. This battle is also inspired by casual real-time strategy games on Roblox like "normal real time strategy game (RTS)", and the paintball visuals are inspired by the Roblox game "Paintball!" by daxter33 that I grew up playing. I have made horror games for itch.io (itchio or itch) that I hope people will enjoy or be inspired by. I show my game development process in game dev videos like this one, where I use Unity to create interesting games and experiences that I hope people enjoy. I'm not sure, but this video might have overlap with people who like RB Battles? A lot of my work is influenced by my time on Roblox, and Roblox Battles is pretty fun, I wish it existed when I was more active lol. It helps spread word when larger content creators like Fusion or 8bitryan play my games, so getting more people like Markiplier or Jacksepticeye to play my games would help me have a larger impact. The best way you can support me is to share something of mine with a friend! Sharing a favorite video, an itch.io game, or a game trailer on my second channel helps tremendously!

Haha thanks, I mostly made this video for fun and for anyone who likes my videos... it doesn't really target a specific audience. I'm leaning more video-game work heavy than RUclips, since I enjoy making video games the most (and for me has the largest potential for growth!) My goal is definitely not to make some huge subscriber count channel, I've found that, time-wise, that would require the content coming first, and not the video games I make.

I HATED the gray super fast monster hes the main reason i cant beat stage 5 he just always catches me offguard and then i rage when im on the last guy to collect. Its a very fun game and really scared me when i first played it. Good job @derndeff!!!

never thought i would see someone make a simulated war with each commenter fighting against other commenters with paintball guns nuclear weapons and tanks but here we are
Very cool, even if this video didn't get as many views as your last couple don't beat yourself up about it! RUclips's algortihm can be finicky at times. Wonder what the average winner is, if you run the simulation multiple times?
I did run the simulation a few more times, and the winner (and the margin) is actually pretty consistent!
As someone who has also made a small horror game based on a popular videogame theme, I can relate to the gameplay stuff.
Many people, popular one too, played my game A Craft Of Mine, but Speed did not like it at all xd

I am working on a more serious game, called After The Curtain Call, but it will be free. I am finishing up another game which I'm considering trying to sell very very cheaply, to attempt to make some money and see how it goes.

you should at least try learning programming! you might find that you enjoy it! Those are my first videos, but I've been studying (casually) what makes good vs. bad videos and just gave it my best effort to maximize entertainment and retention time with a specific audience in mind

hey there, I'd love to hear the behaviors/mechanics of the nextbots you have ideas for! I'm currently churning out a bunch of code for a wide variety of new nextbots I've had ideas for, and I'd love more ideas : )
@@derndeff how Trauma works: It randomly appears and coveres up the game with trauma nextbots like distracting you from what you’re doing, basically how Phantom Puppet from FNAF 3 works,
How Stalkbot works: You have to look at him so it won’t attack but if you don’t , you will have a high chance of dieing but you can able to run away from him.
How unknown works: If you go to far out of the map, a NextBot called Unknown will more faster speed chases and jumpscares the player,
How happy works: Rarely a blood moon happens , summoning the happy NextBot which has all the abilities the other nextbots have and during bloodmoon, only Happy active
