- Srila Prabhupada always liked traditional Bengali Cooking, and so, on the day of his departure, it is only right to cook a traditional Bengali feast.
Feasts in gurukula give the boys an opportunity to learn cooking, spend time together, and also have a bit of fun!

Being a Hindu I was convent educated and the only thing I learned was how to hate myself, and built an inferior complex, most of the time teachers (sisters/nuns we used to call) were humiliating and too strict...I wish my parents sent me to Gurukul to learn these important life skills and most importantly how to love and be respectful to each other. .These boys are precious and I hope they have a good, fruitful life ahead..

My grandmother is a Vaishnava herself. so, i am familiar with peoples love for krishna and I feel it's good and i am happy that institutes like iscon is promoting and developing my sanatana Dharma and people from all the world are hugging it's magic.i am really greatful to iscon, srila Prabhupada ji and to the entire family of iscon for spreading krishna consciousness.

It's possible only in Mayapur,the greatest among all in this earth..
It's just mesmerizing,they are far better than many men and women who don't want to try kitchen other than an omlette or Maggi or nonveg item. Most of the veg items take effort to cook( cleaning,sorting, cutting, masalas) but the real organic fresh food has a different superb taste. The more intake satvik food, the more the mind is calm/ cool. It's the happiest occasion for children to prepare something new / special with their own hands.
