I can't thank you enough, I have been struggling to get my door panels off for painting. I ended up taking off the door at the hinges with the window down. Thanks again, Michael.
Trick to getting the outer skin off Smart doors is to gently push along the crease line of the plastic panel. This pops the edges out of their holding places.

I suppose you can hate the car but that was a nice light designed door :-)) We will have to get you a quality control cat like v8jagnut has, or in your case a bandicoot watching, it bites you if you make mistakes ha ha :-)) Love the alex-eye view, must be a bloody nusance to you though.

Ok so to pull the car apart you need......a small screwdriver! Cordless drill comes in handy too!!

Was not nicely done. Just put a knee in the middle of the door and it pops off.
