Thanks mate appreciate it! I know people want to get on the trowel immediately, but he's gotta work up to that 🤜🤛 as did we all! Hope your enjoying the sun and the family is well🍻☺️
Great work bud! You should teach drew how to use your block splitter from one of your earlier videos maybe!🤔 Anyways, keep up the brilliant work as always mate, looking forward to the next one! 👍😁👌👷♂️🧱
Cheers mate, sorry for the late reply! Just sold the house🎉 Yes Drew is still smashing it! Hope you and the lads are doing fantastic! I'll be seeing you very soon!!
Nice job izzy... I use a brick on edge for gauge in cavity if outer skin/leaf firt.. Its slightly bigger by 2 1/2 mm.... Also I use my knuckle under the block or trowel to lift... 👷♂️
😂😂😂🤦 little behind the scenes. This was uploaded a few days ago and was ment to go live at 4:45pm. But for some reason is went live at 4:45am🤦 still figuring out RUclips myself 😂🍻
Cheers mate! Swings and roundabouts, I'm on decent wage with these new lads and the work is really enjoyable! Maybe in the future, but currently staying put. Only been with them for 2 months
You’re a top bricklayer and a grafter. The lad Drew sounds like a top lad too. Keep hold of his enthusiasm and keenness to learn.
Thanks so much mate appreciate the kind words!
I agree
@@mastersamurai7683 cheers mate
It's actually pretty incredible how well a line on the wall actually works for keeping it plumb.
String line is maybe one of the best tools for a bricklayer, if it’s set right all the blocks should be plumb saving a lot of work fixing mistakes
Good graft but personally I'd put the full block on the revel and the 130 next to it
Always enjoy your vids bud. You do outstanding work
Thank you Richard mate
How much does an extension of this size typically cost ?
You love that trowel. And why not. Nice one Izzy your mate getting doing pointing now, soon be blocks. Good on you both

Made for RUclips for sure. Really watchable and top videos!!!!!
I like this because needing to get down 1/4 to 3/8 is real life. Imperfect materials, unlevel slabs, imperfect masons are real things

What trowel is he using in this video ??
Looks to be 12inch marshalltown plastic handle.
13" narrow London Marshalltown plastic handle
Where can I purchase the trowel?
Please let the apprentice lay a block or anything
Good days block laying that, that trowel is a man's trowel go big or go home 👍
