Just bought mine after watching this video. They currently have a 20% off sale as of July 14th 2023. Awesome sale price plus free shipping. Cant beat it. Thank you for your really good video.
Thank you set power For sponsoring Casey Odell, Cascade heavy wrecker, RUclips channel, As well as other RUclips channels That I have viewed Find your products Setpower, Salute
The difference in price between the 37 and 55 is impressive... The 55 is not yet available with a release date expected late april. The fact that it has the same footprint for all three sizes has advantages and disadvantages. That said, I would LOVE to get one of them. I am guessing, given the uniform footprint, they are building it as a modular construction with the bottom section, and the top section being the same for all models, then just installing an appropriate center section. I am still fond of the large Iceco at $1300, but I can justify the PT55 a lot easier than I can the Iceco on my current budget...
This would be great to have with my power station collection after the next hurricane wipes out the power for two weeks. My power stations can only power my dorm fridge for about 24 hours.
Ive had a 55L for the last couple years. I’ve been looking at downsizing and a dual zone. This is very attractive. Big question for me-can you put a dozen eggs in the carton in the big side? Thx for all you do!
I have been running this since it was shipped over a week ago. I took it camping this past weekend and it is running in the back of my truck cap. It got wet cause my window leaks a bit. I was freaking out but it is still running right now. I use the small size for the freezer and it gets so cold. I put a refrigerator/freezer thermometer in each side and the freezer tent was saying -6°F The ice cream was so cold I could barely scoop it out. I have this running in a Dr. Prepare 12v 100ah Lifepo4 battery. The battery was really wet and kept working but most 12v Lifepo4 batteries are rated IP65 so they can handle getting wet but not submerged.
Great video Matt! That fridge is a beast. I've never seen proprietary sides on a dual fridge that like before. Pretty sweet. Setpower really does make a great fridge. I've had mine for a couple of years now and love it. It's currently on dedicated freezer duty in the house at the moment and it's never let me down. Anyhow, great review of something I've never seen before. Thanks for the great content!
I am waiting for my PT55 to ship on April 20. I already own the Setpower RV45D but I wanted something with separate compartments. I was going to get the PT45 but the PT55 was cheaper than the PT35 and the PT45. $295 was too good to pass. I'm glad I didn't wait because the discount is not as much now. I can't wait to test this out.
I upgraded to this Black Friday and the drain was in the rv series. We shall see if the 55!fits in the sequoia! I gave away the rv45 and loved it on my jackery 500 😊
Just watch this video. I’ve been thinking about getting a 12 V fridge for a while. I have a trip to Moab coming up the first week of me and this pushed me over the edge. Pre-order the 58 quart version. Says it’s supposed to ship April 20 so hopefully it comes around that time but I haven’t before I leave. The 12% coupon code you had is what made me jump. Hopefully you get something out of this as well! Looking forward to having this in the back of the gladiator as I roll around the trails.
This is my first comment on YT.I was wondering if you would review this one. I ordered the PT55 after watching your review of the RV45,(I think). It's supposed to ship later this month. Thanks for providing awesome content Matt! My wife and I have been following you and your prettier half since last summer and always look forward to Friday at 5pm when you drop your vids. You have a vibe of your own that's not replicated or copied from other content makers, and you stand out, and connect to our level. Keep up the good work!
This might be my replacement for my older fridge. That price is hard to beat. I know you won't see them on the cheaper fridges, but I wish the lids were reversible. Matt I don't remember if it was you or another video, but there was a fridge where the lid would pivot from either direction. I think that's a cool feature if you have to put a fridge in a particular location in your rig.
Matt first off i follow you and love all your content so kudos. However We just bought the pt55 and it failed to get down to temperature set first time we plugged it in and every time thereafter . Now trying to get some traction with Setpower.
Hello, Matt or anyone out there? Are you having any issues with the smaller bin left side using it as a freezer and putting it down to maybe 7 or 10° and not holding? Mine will only go down to about 10 and when the compressor kicks on, it goes up to about twenty three degrees, then back down to ten or twelve again?
I bought the pt 55 and it can’t maintain temperature and makes a high pitch sound while running. I received it day before yesterday and they will return it if I pay return shipping through amazon. It’s so loud I can’t sleep in same room as it and my dogs trip out when it’s on cause it hurts their ears. Now I’m stuck with a cooler that doesn’t function. Hopefully your pt45 doesn’t have the same problem.
I got an email about these, was tempted to buy as it looks like a really nice budget fridge, definitely a good upgrade from my current fridge, but it's not a need at the moment so I passed on it at the moment.
Wow! Quite the nice shave Matt! wish I could fit a SetPower or an Iceco under the tonneau cover. I just picked up a Aplicool that is 14.5” tall and fits perfectly. Time will tell if it was a good buy.
Great video! Exactly what I was looking for. However, I live in Canada and it's $300.00 for shipping alone. Looking for other suggestions for something similar. 45L
I'm slightly worried about not having enough sun for solar when just camping, but thinking of throwing in some frozen water just to see what happens, like I did with the cooler. Pacific Northwest has lots of shade and cloudy days. Or maybe get more solar panels, but dislike having them all over the place.
I was very pleased to find your review of this fridge because this model is one of the few that would fit in the cargo area of my Wrangler 4xe. The width is slightly greater which allows for the same volume in a 24.4inch base. Anyway, do you have any suggestions for a slider for this model? SetPower does not offer one, and all the others are too long (>27")to fit. Seems like I might have to create my own.
3 questions, Is that metal aluminum or steel? I thought I saw somewhere else show they could use magnetic accessories on it? 2) do the lids have any features such as reversing or anything and 3) no app? Seems like several mid range ones are coming out with apps. Not sure how useful an app would be, but I was surprised how often I use the app for the Bluetti eb3a after I didn’t think I would have any use for it. 🙂
Thank you 🙏🏼 (twice) I watched your Oregon trip to Owyhee 😮being a newcomer to Oregon,I was seriously inspired and can’t wait to plan a trip there. I’ve been building my rig and even lived full time in California in it, and never had a fridge. I’ve recently been window shopping and then this video popped up on my feed 👌👌👌👌 Super stoked about both road trip and new fridge on order. Thx you got my sub.
Does the manual specify the intended use is in a vehicle? I ask because while watching someone else review another 12 volt fridge, I looked up the user manual for another reason only to see it states for household use or in an office.
Most of the reviews I’ve seen are quite favorable. I ended up purchasing the PT35 on Amazon for $230. Not a bad deal considering the features you’re getting
Another great video Matt!!! This thing isn't budget....It's Blue Light Special pricing!! I don't think I can pass on this!! I better order now, or tomorrow they will all be on backorder because of this video. Thank you!!
it looks great and I heard a lot of nice things here, but the one word I didn't hear was "Danfoss." My single zone Iceco JP40 is equipped with a Danfoss compressor that carries a 5 Year warranty. Much as a dual zone would be nice, the small footprint and the super reliability of the JP40 makes it an absolute winner for me.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures No disagreement here, budget gear is important for sure--but for me personally I'd rather go mid-tier ($500-ish) and have the extra peace of mind. Wish I could afford your new dual-zone or a Dometic/ARB but even my budget has limits .
To all these guys stuck on Danfoss compressors, I opened up one to clean the fins (the literature said "Danfoss compressor") guess what...the Germans translated it into Chinese 😅
I would stay away from this company. I bought thier fridge and the first trip the latch broke i called for warranty. They needed the order number i did not have it any more the email was deleted. I asked if the could look it up by my address i bought it from their site the guy said no he couldnt. I then got an email saying provide a video of the broken latch so i did. 2 weeks later got an email saying a new latch was shipped. Great well not really they just sent the springs the broken part was the plastic latch. I ended up fixing it myself its not perfect but it will work for now. I mean I sent a video and said what was broke how you mess that up.
Wow! Another info commercial. What happened to the fridge you sponsored 4 months ago. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THE PRODUCT PLACEMENT. CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS WHAT THIS CHANNEL HAS BECOME.
You don't have to watch it. No need to yell. You should watch my video called the Truth about RUclips Sponsorships. It might be enlightening to you. The IceCo fridge from last month is in the back of my Gladiator now.

I have an older 45 I purchased 26 months ago, still going strong.

The pt 55 has a difficult time maintaining temperature. I think all three versions use the same compressor. Guessing it’s to small for the pt 55

Great review and for someone like myself a great starter fridge

I just Got the 35 couple months ago for 249.00 … It’s a Great Fridge…
Just measured FJ 😏 it'll fit perfectly with closet build I already have in there plus my sleeping area...Baller 👌 Thanks Matt!
Ordered ours last night. Thanks again for the great review!
Thanks Matt! I’ve been looking for a great budget fridge option. Discount code saved me $42!
Happy to help!
Wow! Cool fridge and what a great price!!

Needed this 24 hours earlier. 😂 will be returning the Amazon one! Thanks for the review matt!

Hi Matt, very nice product. Thank you for sharing.😊
Always appreciate your honest gear reviews! Makes decisions easier for me on what to purchase…✌️
Matt thank you for the review. Giving it a go for our family camping trip in June.

The lid you reference is on the IceCo VL pro series.
Hey Justin, SetPower has a TC series that has the reversible lids. Just FYI.
purchased the PT55 based off this review.....thanks Matt!!!
Hope you enjoy it!
I like the new spectacles! 🤓

How do you change the temperature? When I change it, it goes back to where it was originall?

I would definitely push back on that return crap. That’s not right. Maybe try contacting through the website or instagram.
Great review once again. Keep wheelin. Might have to purchase this soon

Thank you for the very informative video! Great job.
Loved the review. Great information.
Very nice fridge for the price!!

Looking for other suggestions for something similar. 45L
Thanks man for your reviews! I was looking for something like that for a long time!
Dang! Might need to upgrade my SetPower RV45s with this. Lots of great upgrades here.
is it 24.4" including the handles?
Let’s see the interior. Can you switch sides
What kind of PowerStation would you recommend?
Ordered the 55. Should be in soon. Any baskets?
You can get it for 280 right now with the 25% off on their website!
Hi matt could you tell me where you got the tailgate bag from?
I have one. Like it so far.
I'm slightly worried about not having enough sun for solar when just camping, but thinking of throwing in some frozen water just to see what happens, like I did with the cooler. Pacific Northwest has lots of shade and cloudy days. Or maybe get more solar panels, but dislike having them all over the place.
Thanks for the review! I order one tonight with your discount code!
Awesome! Thank you!
I have an Bluetti 1800 watt
power station, how long will it last on eco mode?
Nice review! Thank you sir!
How would you compare this to the RV45D?
Very nice. You guys coming to Flagstaff Expo in May
We can’t make it to Flagstaff. Daughters graduation is that weekend.

Try IceCo’s website or amazon.
if you get this with the 216 power station does it still have the car batterie protection?
Yes
Do you know how to toggle C and F?
I could buy three of these for the price of my ARB 🤷♂️🤔😀

This is a budget level fridge NOT a mid-level price fridge, hence, no app for the market level is trying to reach.

Yes. That's why there is voltage protection on it.
Does it have a solar in-put option and what is your opinion on this cooler a year later?
Most of the reviews I’ve seen are quite favorable. I ended up purchasing the PT35 on Amazon for $230. Not a bad deal considering the features you’re getting
Weren't you just doing a review on the Ecoflow frig?
I review lots of fridges.
Curious if you would go for this or the rv45d. Thoughts?
I think I would go with the PT45. I really like it's construction.
Does the pt45 make a boiling noise between compressor cycles?
It can
How can I trust this product to deliver the same quality as dometic at this price range? There has to be some corners being cut somewhere
I never said you're going to get the same quality as Dometic for 1/3 the price. setpower is the best option for a budget fridge.
Off topic. I'm new to NWA and I am looking for a reliable transmission and offroad shop (fabrication, suspension, etc.). Do you know of any?
I have no idea in that area. Sorry.
Power this with a jeep and a 500 or 800w bluetto power station?
Yes
Does anyone know if this unit will run on 24 volts?
I believe it will.
Another great video Matt!!! This thing isn't budget....It's Blue Light Special pricing!!
I don't think I can pass on this!!
I better order now, or tomorrow they will all be on backorder because of this video.
Thank you!!
Why? Every product video you make cost me more money! Thanks for making my wish list longer.

Love how you give this long, long presentation and never show the inside compartments, take a tape measure to it.
I showed the inside at the 3 minute mark. 🤦🏼♂️😂
Fyi Setpower is made by Iceco
Not exactly. Setpower and IceCo are sister companies both owned by Cooler International.
Would be TO HAVE A VIDEO SHOT OF THE INSIDE ,How wide N DEEP…INSTEAD OF THE FRONT AND YOUR FACE
STOP YELLING AT ME. Clearly you didn’t watch the video because I DID SHOW THE INSIDE. 🤦🏼♂️
