Those aren’t exactly dovetails.. unfortunately I don’t know what kind of material they are made of, but I think it’s probably c40. Definitely it isn’t a great solution because you will need to lubricate them rigorously. I haven’t designed an automatic lubricant but it would be a great project.. if only I had more time. The motors however are Nema23 23HS2442J3 4.2A 425oz-in. Thank you for commenting!
The first principle in design is that if your design looks symmetrical and proportional, it will work with a chance of ≈80%.From your model at the beginning I could see immediately that it would not work

Well.. that's where I hit my face the hardest
