I'm a farmer from Missouri. Hunters cut my fence a couple of different times. Of course, the cows found the holes and got out. I've caught hunters putting up tree stands and building hunting blinds in our timber. When caught, the trespasser will typically say he had permission, but can't recall who gave it. I even had one trespasser claim he was a federal marshal. Turned out, he was retired and the badge he flashed was deactivated. I have no use for people who trespass or dump their trash on other people's property.
Several years ago, I got permission to deer hunt on this lady's land in Missouri. She told me that if I see anyone out there on her property, they need to have a note. Otherwise, they're trespassing. I wasn't there an hour and this guy came walking through the woods right by where I was hunting. So I asked him, "You got a note?" He said no, I told him you're trespassing and you need to get going. I took my safety off. He left.
Call the fire chief or marshal for your area and have a conversation about it. He’ll know exactly what engine Reported to the fire, some of these guys could be volunteer fireman and just don’t have the training or knowledge they need yet. They will keep doing it until someone says something, so a call helps everyone out
Where I'm writing from no one, repeat no one, doesn't know that cutting a fence for access in an emergency is fine, but its your responsibility to repair the damage done. It shouldn't need training to know that. Just common sense.
As a Volunteer FF for 29 years it was a --WRITTEN RULE-- If We Cut A Fence We Fixed and notified the property owner. If the FD does that, there can be liabilities if they are negligent in causing an accident.
Sixteen year rural FF here, too. That is UTTERLY unacceptable and inexcusable for any department to have done that. My boys would be ashamed to have done that.
I've had 2 different fires on my farm both started by neighbors. Both times the VFD cut livestock fences and left without repairs or notification. Both times I found out by finding horses on the highway. The second incident resulted in $10,000 in damages due to a horse being hit by a car. Liability went to the neighbor who started the fire and was paid by their homeowners insurance.
@@LM-qb6fu That's horrible! Thank God no one else got killed (I'm so sorry about the horse💔). But I did want to thank all the Fire folks above for their service! Winnebago or whatever town where Dale is NEEDS to be notified, apologies made & they not do it again! Sorry to be so emotional but here in TX, we saw what damage could happen from wild pigs being hit & a 🐎/🐄 can get a lot bigger‼️✌️🇨🇱🇺🇸
People think that cutting fences is nothing. People use to drive through mine and they would yell at me!!!! The city utility company is the worst about leaving gates open an cut fences.
I work on a ranch along I-40 in Oklahoma there was a fire, Fire Department cut the fence and they didn’t call or nothin heifer got out and hit on the interstate
It's hard to round up cows when they do not want to go back into the field. These folks did a good job getting them back in where they belonged.. I wish that the firemen had contacted you all to let you know that they had to cut the fence. Sorry that they didn't..
You need to add a fence fixin tool box on the back of the Can am. One like True Burson. You and you crew were doing the “Ranch hard be happy”. Surprised FD or PD didn’t call and give you the heads up.
Cattle got out a few times on us. Didn't have a fancy buggy to go get 'em in but one thing always worked. Find the hole, drive back past the cattle, get out and slowly walk toward them. They would head back to where the got out every tome. Oh, Kevin you did and looked good. As for Cole, no surprise he had the most comments to make at the end after sitting in the a/c at the warehouse playing on the computer. 🤠👍
Good stuff yall . You need to round everybody up. Make signs and protest the fire department. Be a good day and a good way to get some pay back. Lol Keep on keeping on .
We once had a golden mix breed dog (not even a big dog) which could and did frequently BITE thru "hog-wire" fence. She would put the wire as far back in her jaw as she could, bite down and twist her head back-and-forth a couple of times and the wire would just snap. The solution ? Moved to the "country" where fences were not required.
Guess I am getting old, have never heard a farm hand called a "intern". Have called them several other things though. Like when they repair fence without stretching wire.
Coming home from work late one evening, my headlights hit something in the road. Immediately hit my breaks. A herd of cattle had escaped and were in the middle of the highway. Called 911 immediately to tell them of the problem. The dispatcher says, oh we know about them someone called earlier but when we went out to take care of them they were no where around. I asked why they didn’t stay and search more because I could have died hitting the cattle. He said they’ve been too busy. All this time I’m following the herd in my car they’re walking down the middle of the road. I’m telling the dispatcher someone is coming towards the cattle they’re going to hit it. Sure enough boom. Cow gets hit flung up into the windshield and thankfully rolls back down and then the herd runs off. I get parked check on the driver she’s shaken but fine. The police show up at least 7-9 cars, ambulance, etc. Was so angry. Now they have time to all arrive to take care of the situation after the fact. There’s a lot more to the story but I’ll stop here. Hitting loose cattle is no joke. The fire department should be held liable and let known that their actions could have killed someone or several someone’s.
My guess it was the local EPA, or some other entitled government agency representative, they needed access to mount their cameras ion your woods and snagging the Carhart jacket on barbed wire is a unnecessary expense to incur.
i met you at the texas state convention! i was with my friend with the polaroid, i’ve been a fan of yours for a while and have been dreaming of meeting you and getting a picture with you for a while. When we got the picture back i was only in it halfway and she was in the full thing😂 it was funny but dang she never watches you and only wanted a picture with you because your famous so it kinda hurt😂 but hope you had fun at the convention massacre!
hold the fire department responsible-they know better. those cows could have died or caused an accident and babies/children would have passed away from that those who cut the fence would have been responsible for and go to jail for and Yes they would have found you-its easier than you think. Dont matter who cut the fence anyone could have told them. so people could you live with that knowing you are the one who caused that accident that wiped out a whole family? how do you youngins know about the Hammer dance?
Dear Dale, thank you for being the only Super Puncher who knows how to style a cowboy hat. Can you tell us fans who was the cowboy that took a nasty spill, got up, put his hat on backwards and made it look so cool that all wannabes style their hats backwards???
As a firefighter I’ve had to cut a fence like this in the past to get a fire out. We had no way of finding out who’s property is was so we tied it back together the best way possible
The truth of the matter is, the fire department can be sued for losses if they incur them. Cattle whether lost, killed, stolen. Subsequent damages to people, loss of life, and equipment if the cattle get hit. That was very irresponsible of the fire department.
Glad we have volunteer firemen,,,but they need raggin on until they change their ways out here. This almost looks like one if them paid firemens thing.
what I know as a fire prevention we do here in australia we cut 1.5 x of a vehicle width on the fence line. for fire breaks. May be give the local fire chief your phone number for notifying you when they cut your fence for access to a fire
The chain or nose band doesn’t keep the mouth closed. It’s to keep the bit from sliding back when you have western rein bit, and no nose band. Am I wrong? You have a full nose band, and a leather chin strap why the chain? It’s either or, and the chain is not supposed to be wrapped around the chin leather strap, it’s suppose to be smooth under the chin, that causes pain the way you have it. Maybe that is why there is a lot of mouthing you have double chin strap and it’s used incorrectly. 😊❤
Now they do it every deer season down here in Ohio they'll cut your fence and when it's supposed to be hunting and run around at night with night vision on the other bunch of deer poachers down here
Fire departments have right of way. I’m guessing that they assumed you knew there was a fire on your property. Yes, talk to them about it. Stop complaining.
Ain't y'all supposed to use a fence stretcher with ya for that shit? That happened to us once. Some idiot shot a big Buck on our property, cut the fence and we caught him before he got the buck into his pickup bed. He got some ass chewing and a fine and lost the Buck. Never heard what kind of fine he paid but I know a person can lose their license to hunt for up to 10 years. I wanted to slap him around some but was told to stand down!
That's what killed rabbit and bird hunting here. Some dumbass would cut the fence for their dog. Then someone like me would ask permission to hunt and the answer would be NO

If they are cutting fences and intentionally trespassing, they aren’t hunters. They’re just poaching criminals.
Low-lifes!!!! Someone should press charges.

I do. Fertilizer

100%
Hopefully there smarter than that if they are going to be fighting fire

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know you’ve compromised a livestock fence. A 5th grader can figure that out.
“They must have heard about all of our gold” LOL!!!
I cut fences and gate chains while in on a rural fire crew. We always went back and fixed them.
That buckskin with those black socks sure is a beautiful horse DB I think Donnie was on it

Thank you, excellent job beautiful horses good country side terrific people keep on ranching and rodeoing
You should see the old ranchers put up a fence. It's impressive.
I work on a ranch along I-40 in Oklahoma there was a fire, Fire Department cut the fence and they didn’t call or nothin heifer got out and hit on the interstate
If you don’t have fencing tools in your truck, you ain’t NO cowboy!
Thanks for sharing your life on the
Ranch , love your community and
Commentary!!!
You’re about to make hands outta this crew. Worked that pen smooth as silk is soft!
It was your nosy neighbor lady😂😂😂
That chubby.
Time to remove all "qualified immunity" from these "public servants" and holding them responsible for their screw-ups that WE THE PEOPLE pay for.
Hahahaha shit, how funny would it have been if you found their license plate!
It's hard to round up cows when they do not want to go back into the field. These folks did a good job getting them back in where they belonged.. I wish that the firemen had contacted you all to let you know that they had to cut the fence. Sorry that they didn't..
take a big box of donuts and coffee to the fire department and tell them you deserved a call.
That commentary is gold😂😂
Awesome video Ol’son, have a great day
New subscriber after watching a short! Y'all rocking it!

Im watching this on a day off, but my stress level was really climbing when they were fixing the fence without a stretcher 😬🤯
Evidently they don't know how to use one.
Look at the rest of the Perimeter Fence.....SMH.....🤔🤔🤣🤣
Oh that's cute look at them little Spur dragging horses. Mama says Dale needs to buckle.
Looks like y'all got good grass now
Must be a fellow fire fighter.god bless buddy and what u wrote is so true.thanks

Even COLOR BLIND they somehow know that the grass was greener on the other side of the fence.💜😈
As a volunteer ff in our county it was the SOs responsibility to tell the landowners. I can’t think of a time they didn’t. I mean really. WTF??
Good stuff yall .
You need to round everybody up. Make signs and protest the fire department.
Be a good day and a good way to get some pay back. Lol
Keep on keeping on .
Even some temporary twine etc for a temporary hold and a call. And some plastic ribbon as a marker.
You cut a fence you start range war
Ideas for add ons for can am. Tooled leather everywhere and get La Roy to replace all the Can Am emblems with some silver.
I want to see the confrontation with that fire department while you were dressing them down .
Someone “got bit.” Look at that arm!

Get a lawyer to send a bill to the fire department for a new fence, and the labor cost of getting the cattle back in the pasture.
In MT fence cutters lose... Specific law from the 1800s penalty is hanging. Still on the books
Wat The Dale Is Goin On Her🤣😂💪🏻💪🏻💚👍🏻👍🏻

All cops are bad. If you're not rich or powerful, they don't care
My guess it was the local EPA, or some other entitled government agency representative, they needed access to mount their cameras ion your woods and snagging the Carhart jacket on barbed wire is a unnecessary expense to incur.
Got to watch Donnie ride in Wright city Oklahoma during his 4th of July run

At least your fire department showed up. Here in cesspool Chicago, the mayors order cops and CFD not to respond to riots. Fact.

Happens all the time in Arizona, except it's illegal migrants.

Donnie should def come ride broncs at the Great Plains stampede rodeo in Altus, Oklahoma it’s near the southwest state line of Oklahoma
Hey Dale it’s me your Cousin Leroy from Arkansas
Glad we have volunteer firemen,,,but they need raggin on until they change their ways out here. This almost looks like one if them paid firemens thing.
We cut fences quite a bit to access scenes at the sheriff's office but we always wire the fence is back up when we're done.
And notify the owners
Well if you enter the pasture uninvited, you are never leaving the pasture 🤷♂️
Curious as to what the repercussion for cutting a fence is in Texas if it’s a straight up trespasser and it’s not being filmed for RUclips
Dale is looking jacked
You should’ve put the tailgate down on the Can-Am and back to in between the Bobwire they could’ve stepped on the tailgate
what I know as a fire prevention we do here in australia we cut 1.5 x of a vehicle width on the fence line. for fire breaks.
May be give the local fire chief your phone number for notifying you when they cut your fence for access to a fire
Missed ya in Calgary bro musta been busy…
I’m guessing you don’t remember me but you were at a rodeo in Jonesboro Arkansas and I was there and I met you🤣
Where was Pedro during all this?
Must not have been there, or he would have called clint.
At prom

Somehow the bird an toast🤨
Go Montana!!!🎉
If you are a big/heavy rancher you have to be at a minimal using a 4 digit number in your ear tags.
Also not a fan of firemen. Most have big egos and don’t mind cheating.
Haha.
My ex is a fireman.
Someone cut you fence?........ I'll never guess who?
Save me 18 minutes and just tell me..... I'm old, not much time left.
Man when I leave corpus I gotta go by y'all and learn how to ride a horse
Here in the UK you would also be sued if your animals caused an accident! top strand tied with string would have helped, taking just a minute!
If you’re from Montana you carry a 65 foot rope on the range! Duh Dale
Damn would almost mistake them for county workers. 1 working and 4 watching
😂😂😂
Now they do it every deer season down here in Ohio they'll cut your fence and when it's supposed to be hunting and run around at night with night vision on the other bunch of deer poachers down here
Can't stand rude behavior, WONT ABIDE IT
Ever heard of splices when fixing a barbed wire fence?
Dale I need to hangout with you I’m your biggest fan
Yo what ever happened to catfish?!? It’s been years since I watched this.
😂 need turn signals on that horse, he seems to make unscheduled left turns at will..
No brushing?? Putting them away wet??
Are we gonna talk about why the boss had to close the gate. SMH
It was the fire department for sure
Hey dale I was wondering how could I be a intern and how old do I have to be.
My mom did dale .You never pick up your bull rope from her house…
count your cattle!
its an petty move, cheech..ever for you.
It’s rode time 340 apparently 🤷🏼♂️
They went to Whitesboro and I saw jorden and Donnie
Where’s the Clydesdale ?
What's up with the guy wearing a short-sleeve shirt
Great job, wire looks like it was stretched with a greased chicken’s ass…
Fire departments have right of way. I’m guessing that they assumed you knew there was a fire on your property. Yes, talk to them about it. Stop complaining.
So they cut the fence and put out the fire. Next they will have come out and pull bodies out of a car that wrecked avoiding cows.
That happens to us one time why cow goat sheep pig horse anything for out and your not the only one dale
Oh no why was his arm bleeding
What we have here a failure to communicate
Rolex

Aren't those animals with horns called doggies, or something like that?
where are your side arms
That's what killed rabbit and bird hunting here. Some dumbass would cut the fence for their dog. Then someone like me would ask permission to hunt and the answer would be NO
