I've never been in a desert place but just from watching a video such as this one I can see why people are attracted to the desert. There's a tranquility there, so much space and light. And Chihuahuas! I want to see more Chihuahuas!
Yes AdamTheWoo and other explorers are rockin to maintain a living thru RUclipss terms of service is a frustrating trip for the best .. Great work Adam.
Interesting video Adam but PLEASE be careful in these places! Stepping through a flimsy floor, or getting diced by broken glass would be....unpleasant.
dude you ROCK!!! LOVE YOUR FRIGGIN VIDEOS! COME BACK TO CLEVELAND ONE OF THESE DAYS the Christmas story house is open year round, maybe we can actually get you a video of the inside this time!
the Salton sea has facinated me since I was 5 years old and I saw this giant body of water off of I-10 in 120 degree heat. The Salton Sea is the largest lake in California, let alone the southwest. The Salton sea was a huge lovely attraction in the 1950's through the early '70s.
Yeah! I was hoping you we're going to do some of the Salton Sea! if you're even down here in San Diego, I can show you a segment of the 15 freeway that's been abandoned, in favor of the newer freeway segment right next to it. It's a pretty neat bridge that's for pedestrians now, but not many people even know its there because from above it just looks like a access road.
Great chemistry between you and Carpetbagger. Jacob clearly has angels around him constantly trying to keep him safe, but he makes their job very difficult. lol. Jacob, please start to notice giant holes in 2nd story floors! And once again, it's nice to see that aspiring young hate mongers found another playground to enrich their destructive talents. Their parents clearly didn't supply them with enough hammers and drywall in their early development years.
Adam the woo. Consider travelling Mexico City There is an abandoned mall, two abandoned water parks, a abandoned train station, a haunted hotel and a 17 floor abandoned residential building.
Been there. The place is as depressing as Adam depicts. Possibly more so. It is still fascinating and worth at least one trip to visit. I used to fish there back in the 60s during its last gasp and decline. You could see the handwriting on the wall even then. The place had no future.
My hometown of East Jordan, Michigan is starting to look like that town . We had tons of people leave to find work and now buildings are becoming vacant or is being torn down to leave vacant lots . Even the middle school closed up last year and supposably in the spring four more buildings are marked to be torn down . Lots of meth use and alcohol abuse to.
Sickk! thanks again for taking the time and replying to me! Had a blast traveling to the Salton sea! I upload a video just like this on my channel! thanks to you of course! haha
I've been here. Less than 7 years ago I bought carne asada and other food here while camping nearby. I I was here just the other day to see how much more this place has decayed. Yes, this building is the inspiration for Trevor's Meth Lab in GAT5.
love the videos adam...if you ever get the itch to make another filming locations video, ive met to see one for the 1990 teenage mutant ninja turtles, or 1994s dumb and dumber....both are classics and would love to see the locations!
"Gas Station Penthouse" would be a great name for a band by they way. I love how the upstairs was a 1000 times less messy than downstairs, how lazy are people nowadays. Loved the advert for the BBQ, Shame the payphone wasn't working, mind you that could be your next video, find a working payphone. :)
Looks like this building was around from sometime in the mid-late 60s or so. I wonder what it was originally, obviously a store, perhaps a gas station as well when it first opened. I'm sure some oldtimer that lives in the area knows its origin.
hey Adam! it would be awesome to hit up some abandoned places with you if you ever come back to Florida. long time watcher man. I enjoy the history and places you show us. feel free to hit me up.
If I ever get bored of living in the city with all the comforts it offers, I may travel into the hot desert with a video camera and shoot a video blog and load it on You Tube. But until that day arrives, which it probably never will, I will watch Adam The Woo's blogs on You Tube while munching on snacks and gulping down a cold drink sitting at home in air condition comfort. Yeah, like that! Bye, now!
I recognize those red bricks in front of the coffee club. They were manufactured by the Simons Brick Company. I have red bricks in my backyard that have that same "SIMONS" imprint. It's too bad that much of the Salton Sea's infrastructure is a mess. During weird humid weather, the Salton Sea produces a rotten egg smell that distributes around Southern California.
Gotta love the desert and all the stories it can tell
When I was in the desert I saw Abandoned restaurant
+adamthewoo Also much love for the Woo, and all the stories he can tell
+adamthewoo You should develop documentary on that topic.
+adamthewoo you make the best abandoned videos!
+adamthewoo the serious music shift and the not a plunger text was simple and hilarious
It's what clinical depression would look like were it a place on the map.
I've never been in a desert place but just from watching a video such as this one I can see why people are attracted to the desert. There's a tranquility there, so much space and light. And Chihuahuas! I want to see more Chihuahuas!
+Andrew Brendan I live and hour away from this place. The sands are beautifully quite at night
The Salton Sea area has fascinated me for years, it's such a strange place.
Looks like Trevor Phillip's Meth lab
+Neon Streaks That's what I thought too
+Neon Streaks Its the same exact one actually
+Neon Streaks Glad I am not the only one that noticed that. But R* did loosely base the game on real areas on California.
I was looking for someone to comment something about Trevors meth lab
first thing I thought!!
Yes AdamTheWoo and other explorers are rockin to maintain a living thru RUclipss terms of service is a frustrating trip for the best .. Great work Adam.
You talk funny Adam. Funny like Ha Ha not funny queer. Youre like a clown, you amuse meh...
I am always amazed at the location you and your buddies find. Keep up the great job.
I'm so glad I stumbled on your videos please keep up the good work you are a pleasure to watch
Your one of the first people I checked out when I joined RUclips! And I still love your videos
Interesting video Adam but PLEASE be careful in these places! Stepping through a flimsy floor, or getting diced by broken glass would be....unpleasant.
Great Video!
You and 'This is Dan Bell' are the best Urban Explorers!
You and This is Dan Bell really need to do an Urban Explorer video together.
+Kevin Turner Dan is a good friend of mine
I enjoyed this! Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting to see. Glad you are experienced and kept your friend from having a bad accident.
dude you ROCK!!! LOVE YOUR FRIGGIN VIDEOS! COME BACK TO CLEVELAND ONE OF THESE DAYS the Christmas story house is open year round, maybe we can actually get you a video of the inside this time!
The sound of the wind would drive me nuts. Jacob slipped through those studs like a champ.
Huggs,silky
Wow that place is trashed!! Great explore :)
I'm going to love this blog.
Nice job Adam. Thanks!
Well I have been to the desert on a horse with no name. It felt good to get out of the rain.
the Salton sea has facinated me since I was 5 years old and I saw this giant body of water off of I-10 in 120 degree heat. The Salton Sea is the largest lake in California, let alone the southwest. The Salton sea was a huge lovely attraction in the 1950's through the early '70s.
these videos make me so anxious
I love the choice of words., 'soirée'..
, I thought I was the only one left at parties to use that word to catch people off guard!!
Pretty cool. And I liked the little railfanning bonus at the end :-)
It's definitely on my bucket list to go check out the deserts and abandoned sites in California.
Terrific video guys I love the Salton Sea I wish I could see it up close and personal😉👍🏻 thumbs up to both of `ya..stay safe!!!
Great video with Jacob and Adam ;)
You're right Adam.
That wasn't a plunger.
That was the floaty thingy from the toilet tank.
aka ballcock assembly. 😱
that music at the "not a plunger" scene. classic.
Great video, Adam!
I love this kind of stuff. Keep it up.
I really enjoyed this you should do more videos of exploring abandoned buildings!
Right when you told the carpetbagger he didnt want to fall through that hole. Something moved in the hole.
Even vandals would say "there nothing left to destroy".
Yeah! This reminds me Adam, should go check out Bridgeport, Ca., there's a abandoned store over there too.
Adam the woo. Consider travelling Mexico City
There is an abandoned mall, two abandoned water parks, a abandoned train station, a haunted hotel and a 17 floor abandoned residential building.
AdamtheChoo? Anyone? Cool 24 hr liquor store and convenience store! Are there houses around there Adam?
+Chris614 not really, a few miles down the road there a handful
Lovin' the Large Marge shirt. Awesome!
Hey Adam! You have inspired me to live simply
Cool video Adam keep it up 👌🏻👍🏻
Does anyone get Gta5 vibes from this?
+KevenTaylor Yep
that's because gta 5 was modeled after this area.
Sandy Shores
+AaronMascarenas sandy shores that is. The other places were based off of other areas in California
KevenTaylor Its Trevor's meth lab.
Been there. The place is as depressing as Adam depicts. Possibly more so. It is still fascinating and worth at least one trip to visit. I used to fish there back in the 60s during its last gasp and decline. You could see the handwriting on the wall even then. The place had no future.
Wow GTA 5 really did a good job, capturing the dessert lifestyle and scenery. Good video as always.
I actually just discovered carpetbagger and coincidently u are both in the same video but I've been watching u Adam for a while
My hometown of East Jordan, Michigan is starting to look like that town .

Aww fuck yeah!!! You gave a shout out to Niland. I live there. Man I love your channel even more now!!
I've been here. Less than 7 years ago I bought carne asada and other food here while camping nearby. I I was here just the other day to see how much more this place has decayed. Yes, this building is the inspiration for Trevor's Meth Lab in GAT5.
you need to come out to the East Bay and I'll show you a little tour of a area known as the 'secret sidewalk'..
You would enjoy that!
Let’s hear it for Topsie!!! 😊👏
If it wasn't a plunger, what was it? Curious minds and all. Thanks for the cute video Adam and Jacob
Lol I've been there and went inside that grocery store, and the apartments above it. love exploring out there.
love the videos adam...if you ever get the itch to make another filming locations video, ive met to see one for the 1990 teenage mutant ninja turtles, or 1994s dumb and dumber....both are classics and would love to see the locations!
"I have a strange infatuation with the desert".........so that makes 3 of us, that I know of. You, I and Jim Morrison of The Doors.
hi Adam I am a huge fan and love your videos i have a passion for dogs and I love your view
+adamthewoo you need to make stickers and place the stickers on the abandoned buildings
I have seen Adam The Woo put stickers on abandoned buildings in some of his video blogs.
Glad you survived from last video Adam!!
I need to go there so I can puke.
Classic Woo going up the stairs at 6:11 Probably not safe you go first !
Awsome :3 U and the tim trackers are amazing people :3
Visit Downtown Palm Springs and make a video! Love your videos! :)
5 years? Dang. That place looked like the LA Riots. Nice 1986 era shower. My folks have an upstairs shower like that.
A kitchen sink to you, is not a kitchen sink to me.
**Not a plunger** I lost it upon seeing this.
Chihuahuas are so cute!
5:09 looks exactly like Trevor's Liquor store in Sandy Shores in GTA V
Salton sea is a really interesting place. It has an interesting history. It was a booming tourist area at one time.
that looks like the bathroom sink. But the Kitchen sink was in fact also present it looked like... Thanks for the vid!
awww SHIT son, ADAM AND THE CARPETBAGGER.AWESOME COLLABORATION.
I think I saw where rockstar got their inspiration for sandy shores in GTA 5, cause this place looks IDENTICAL to sandy shores
Looks like this building was around from sometime in the mid-late 60s or so.
I wonder what it was originally, obviously a store, perhaps a gas station as well when it first opened. I'm sure some oldtimer that lives in the area knows its origin.
God almost looks like the town i live in.
Great video adam
Great video .If your still in California The ghost town of Bodie would be nice .
I went to those bunkers i told you about again and some crazy guy was following us. Thats the last of my adventures for now.
Yep I love it and it's a 2 for 1 with both of you guys together. 👍😆✌
I've never understood some people's fascination with literally buying spray can paint to just "tag"something
i like the videos you make adam
Adam you're so funny!
+Andromeda Star thank you
***** You're so welcome!
Another good video!
hey Adam! it would be awesome to hit up some abandoned places with you if you ever come back to Florida. long time watcher man. I enjoy the history and places you show us. feel free to hit me up.
my address is brucehampton70@gmail. com
Adam I hope you learned your plumbing lesson for today regarding the plunger😜
The plunger is actually the float from a toilet float valve. It's the thing inside the tank if you lift off the cover.
If I ever get bored of living in the city with all the comforts it offers, I may travel into the hot desert with a video camera and shoot a video blog and load it on You Tube. CHIHUAHUA HOUSE!?!? PACK YOUR BAGS MOM, WE'RE MOVING
It's the Illuminoties❤
That are doing this to the people and places ❤
That place looks very similar to a scene on Grand Theft Auto 5, of a gas station liquor stores, near Trevor's place in the desert.
Left behind as a memoir . LMAO!!!
You weren't even supposed to be there today!
+bttfspencer clerks reference?! :)
+InvaderBethany Clerks! 😁😀😂
Watch inside of hole to the left as you warn Jacob, around 8:13 as you say the word HOLE, a long black thing ( snake maybe ? ) moves in it..
I'd NEVER shop in a place like that
I hope you called a rescue for those little dogs!!
LOL look at the plunger down here (NOT A PLUNGER)
Don't mind me. I dont even know why I thought that was funny.
