Go to a body shop and get a quote! You will find out its cheaper to get a pdr job. You get to keep everything factory finish. Painting the hood they would recommend blending into the fenders… maybe bumper too… 🙄
This is what a body shop in Grand Junction is telling me as well. From your experience: Will the insurance company pay for a new PPF onto the new hood after the paint has cured?
It’s better to buy a new panel if you own a pos and don’t care if it goes on the carfax and lowers the value and is not matched exactly and starts to fade in a year.On the other hand if you have a nice vehicle, then this is best.

Sometimes but saving the factory panels and factory paint finish is a better repair

@@chrisc3825 depends on the damage size, depth, damage location and many other factors, typically we will know beforehand how damage will come out :)
