Here are a couple trivial painting tips.. 1) use a canvas drop cloth in your kill room. This will keep the paint that falls on the floor from sticking to your feet, and getting tracked into your shop. You can get them in many sizes at Home Depot perfect for the kill room dimensions. Then open the plastic walls all the way so they drape onto the floor in the kill room. Place your drop cloth on top. This will protect against any spills that would penetrate the drop cloth. Added bonus this method is cheaper and faster than the paper method. If you’re going to keep making these rooms :/ 2) Have you tried a red sharpie for numbering your drawers? Not sure about you finish but so many paint finishes (if not stain blocking) red sharpie bleeds right thru. Again this is just a trivial item that feels better for my painters mind rather than tearing off the blue tape and all the finish... even though its hidden forever behind the drawer face.
After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans
I think that 50% of the reason I enjoy your videos is your sense of humor and that you don't take yourself too seriously. The there's the fact that you thoroughly explain stuff and are quite talented at DIY and videography. :)
I laughed hysterically when you said "that's what kids are for" because that's the line my dad always used on us when we didn't want to do a crappy job "I know it's crappy, that's what kids are for--so I don't have to do it. Now go do it." 😁
The bloody stash in the wall was pure genius! 🤣🤣🤣
THAT is beautiful Jason!! I am in awe of your design sense and your mad skills!
Right on man. Been waiting on part two. Lots of cool tips I’ll take back to the shop.
Looks absolutely amazing. I love all your cabinet building videos. Using them as motivation to build a vanity for my next bathroom remodel.
Awesome build, Jason. Beautiful piece. Great tips as well.
So simple to build in concept but so well executed. Beautiful piece. I recently found joy in making my own furniture/cabinets. Thank you for your guidance via these videos.
Great video. Measuring tips were spot on! That bag of stuff in the wall Properly funny! 😅
What an amazing build. It looks like it was always meant to be there. Seamless. I can't fricking wait until I own my own place so I can come back, watch all your videos again and this time actually build some furniture. So exciting.
Great job!! I appreciate the detail you share in the process.
Absolutely beautiful results. The drawer pulls and latches are stellar. You are a terrific maker, patient, and a great person for producing this tutorial two-part series. Thank you so much!
What an excellent series and overall finished product, very inspiring, thank you for the detail! Stay awesome brother.
Wow, it is perfect! Thank you for the painting tips🙂
Your son is a real character. Love him.
I just love your content! Hilarious yet informative. 🤣 nicely done sir, keep it up. I need some more videos. I'm definitely trying that roller and brush stroke maneuver
