- This Ventrac tractor is the most capable compact tractor I have ever seen.
The things that it can do for its size defy belief!

Ventrac states that the engine power of the Fuel Injected N is the same as it is for the carbureted Z model but using 25% less fuel. While that may be true, the power of the hydraulics over the 4500 is definitely noticeable! Since the PTO attachments are getting their power "right off the crank", there shouldn't be any noticeable difference there. The Tough Cut felt like it had the same power as my 4500Z BUT the Stump Grinder felt WAY more powerful! I'm not sure why that is...

Thanks for showing under the "bonnet". First thing that jumped out to me was the open access to the valve cover. No more "Step1: disassemble tractor" to service the valve clearances. The heat shield is different too, I hope the flywheel is visible without too much disassembly, maybe just the bottom support of the heat shield? I can not see a mechanical throttle linkage, is it under the coils or maybe electronically controlled? The addes hydraulic power has to be a huge asset.
I think it's throttle by wire
No governor linkages, no high voltage wires to the spark plugs, no choke, no carb idle or low-speed mixture screws, no HI and LOW throttle linkage travel limit screws. She should have very good manners! Seems like this engine will go quite a distance-- trouble-free! Really like the graphic and naming honoring an elder of your family. 🙂

The chains are VERY aggressive, with cleats welded onto the chains. It definitely makes a noticeable difference
Nose Art in WW2 involved a lot of women…… but weren’t always PG. :)
They were DEFINITELY not all PG 🤣 I try to keep this channel as PG as possible and I don't think it's in good taste to have my wife's scantily clad grandmother on my tractor 😇
