      Closed about what? LeSean McCoy said on his FS1 show that he spoke with Trevon Diggs a while ago (he didn't specify the exact time) and he told him that his brother was going to end up in Houston. So this was probably cooking for a while. Diggs went to the Super Bowl media scrum saying he was ready for whatever, it seemed like he was very aware that he was most likely moving. It seemed like this is what he wanted. So he gets to go play for an up-and-coming team that everyone expects to be a postseason threat, and the Bills get left holding $30m in dead cap, a lost 2020 1st round pick that materialized into one AFC title appearance, and a WR room lacking depth and experience. Even KC mocked him saying no bro we didn’t double you. You’re not even a decoy. I’m more upset at the money we ate and the draft pick being next year but this team needs to get younger and better. Rented Stefon Diggs for 4 years of his prime. Paid a 1st. He’s not in his prime anymore. Get a 2nd. We move on.
    We dropped maybe 10 draft slots 4 years into the future for 4 years of Prime Diggs.
    What a huge win when thinking big picture. Dead cap blows. However, it also ends. Got out for a 2nd before it’s too late.
    This is a baseball style trade minus that Diggs wasn’t on a first contract. Deal the vet and maximize return before you end up getting squat. BIG DUBS.

    The Bills have needed a WR before the draft. Everyone knew if they are making a big move in the draft in the draft everyone knows why they are doing it. Just because they got rid of Diggs, it doesn't show their hand anymore than it did prior to the trade.

Look at what the Chiefs did two years ago during the off season. Two Super Bowl wins later, it seems to have worked out. I'm MORE than confident in the Bills. Diggs was traded because he could no longer be the man in the crunch . . . his performance declined in the second half of the past two seasons. Attitude was secondary. Time for bigger faster younger inexpensive motivated receivers (Ala Shakir and Kinkaid and maybe Shorter . . and TWO rookie WRs).

  • @OnlyGamingClips

    I don't think this is as big of a deal as ppl think, we been wanting to move towards a 2 TE team since we drafted Kincaid, and I believe he takes the step and becomes a top 2 TE this year, and Knox does damage as well. Shakir and Samuel are pretty good too, and we still have the draft. No need to panic. Diggs was being catty on Social media all the time and it was starting to effect team chemistry, had to be done, I love Diggs, thanks for the years, but it was time.

  • @RageDaug
    @RageDaug Месяц назад +1

    I mean, theoretically Diggs could have a Probowl season, but I just don't see it. His problems last year were not Josh Allen. There's nothing CJ can do that Josh couldn't in regards to Diggs. Diggs problem in the 2nd half of last year was not being able to separate and dropping balls. He can fix the drops, but I don't think he can fix the separation issue. He lost a step, and today's DBs are too fast for him.
    There's also the issue of the QB sophomore slump, which is a very real thing. We've seen quite a few hot-shot rookie QBs that take a step back in their 2nd and sometimes 3rd season. NFL DCs have a whole season of tape to review when preparing for them now. So I think CJ has a long fruitful career in front of him. I think he's very good. I just think there's a real chance that CJ takes a little bit of a step back now that DCs have seen him.

Maybe I'll follow Diggs or Davis since I've apent thousands of dollars to collect their cards for what? To pay others to take our best WR?!? F*CKING JOKE! I gave Beane benefit of doubt by always supporting his moves but after this past season & current offseason I'm done... Call me if we ever win the AFC Championship again (not likely throwing away our BEST TALENT). At this point I hope JA17 goes to a winner bc this organization isn't it & he deserves better.

I'm a Packer fan as well as BUF, so it was really tough to stomach, hoping that he had grown up and kind of woke up to the fact that he is a phenomenal talent and an adult... I have even more respect now for his talent (regardless of whether or not Steph is in decline), but it's a damn shame that I was right to call him a diva when we traded for him...
