Thank you Greg Cosell. Barely part of the offense his last 6 games in Buffalo. They wanted him gone. Relying on a rookie replacement considering Diggs is a $31 mil cap hit. They'll pick up a veteran when rosters are cut after preseason.

Hate to see Digs go, but this is the best move for Allen and Sings for their careers. They were mutually beneficial to eachother. Seemed like a toxic relationship and Josh's desire to appease Diggs led to poor decision making and turnovers. Now they can be Brothers and admire each other from a far. They went as far as they could together as teammates with the personas that they have. When Diggs was off or down on Josh it really f"d with his head. Stroud seems to be able to shake off the emotional element of the position.Imo as a lifelong Bills fan this needed to happen

Angry and disgusted with this trade, and I'm surprised the NFL "allowed/approved" it because it's SO ONE-SIDED as to be grossly imbalanced on its face (something sports commissioners supposedly step in to void). The then high-picking Bills gave up a #1 draft pick to acquire Diggs four years ago (they should have just kept the pick and taken Jefferson themselves instead of letting Minnesota pick him with the Bills pick -- had they done that, they would have received a better, younger WR who would still be on the Bills today [20/20 hindsight]), and now the Bills get back ONLY a 2nd round draft pick from a late-drafting playoff team (essentially an early 3rd round pick). As if all that isn't bad enough:
    a) the Houston draft pick isn't until AFTER NEXT season,
    b) the Bills are ALSO giving Houston a 2024 draft pick AND a 2025 draft pick IN ADDITION TO Diggs,
    c) the Bills sustain a HUGE $31 Million dead cap hit, AND
    d) the Bills FAILED to send Diggs to the NFC ... thereby immediately drastically improving another AFC team the Bills will have to get past to make a Super Bowl run.
The other thing that galls me is the fact that Diggs is a TOXIC VILLAIN who has now harmed TWO teams, yet he gets rewarded for his own BAD BEHAVIOR. If Diggs can't get along with really good player-friendly guys like Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane, and/or a really good dude in Josh Allen, then the problem is staring Diggs in the mirror.
