Yeah, like the original commenter said, DeKalb/Sycamore was amazing. Everyone came through there. There was a record store I’m forgetting the name of that used to have shows in the basement as well as random apartments and houses and the bass player from Charles Bronson used to have shows in his parents basement in Sycamore. I think he was the one who pretty much knew everyone in every other band and got so many shows around. I never made it to an Elgin show, I imagine it was awesome there as well. I went to the Fireside Bowl in Chicago twice to see Charles Bronson and MK Ultra. Such good days

The "God is Dead" sample on this album (don't know what song lol) is also used on a Choking Victim song on their album "No Gods/No Managers". Anyway, I thought that was cool. I love all three of the bands.
one of the guys from spazz said in an interview somewhere that no one in the punk/hardcore scenes understood powerviolence. it was too "out there" for them. and you couldnt really mosh to it cause its so fast and short lol. hence why crowds on live shows for these bands are so still lol
Anyone know places that sell this, if not on physical formats but digital? Can't seem to find a bandcamp for it. People ripping fans off again on Discogs, £60+. I need to own a copy of this shit.
Used to play shows with Charles Bronson back in the day in DeKalb. Ahhhhhhh, good memories!
I know this is a 5 year old comment but I used to go to a lot of those shows.
Grew up listening to Charles Bronson wishing they had more music out or some unreleased shit someone would post
gud old daze
@@gocubsgo2562 any town have better shows than elgin? (besides the city of chicago, unless its a specific neighborhood)

Crazy that Chris Dodge of SPAZZ is a transgender now. He goes by the name Christine Assburger
Probably THE definitive power violence split release.

production on the Bronson side is essentially flawless
YOU'RE ESSENTIALLY FLAWLESS

Subversion / SPAZZ split
Great split. Thanks for sharing. And I really love the cover.
herrzeb itsnotanalbummoran
it´s a split ep, not an album...
CB was chaotic as fuck, vocally, musically. You need to have the gut to play a live show with unresponsive crowds.

This records not in print, so that’s the going rate. Not really a bad price considering how limited this pressing is.
It’s perfect that there was an Amity Affliction ad before this. So funny!
Who’s disliked it?😡
Becca his kids in the hjk tab can hahaha wait
And in all this talk ...noone really stormed the castle of pabst
