what does yacopse mean?
The Bandname is derived from the last name (Jakobs) of the singer of a fellow band, The DDL´s. You could say it means "The Jakobs´".

@@andrewmosesyanez9486 admittedly, I don´t know. The crossed "o" is typical for nordic languages, such as danish. The "ae" ending is more typical for romanic languages. My guess is, that it´s compiled from several languages to sound like "Jaköbse", a veeery colloquial plural for "Jakobs", if you pronounce it like a german would. That wouldn´t be unusual since they are definitely rooted in German (Hardcore) Punk and those bands always liked to play with the sound of words.
Sorry that I can´t describe this any better, but I´m not a native English speaker. I hope this still made some sense to you.
