My first vehicle was a JR, ex-GPO Telephones. I paid £4 for it in 1967! This was the version with rubber front mudguards, one of which had a small split which someone had actually STICHED up with twine and painted over. We painted it black one side and green on the other (we were not always doing legal, so the witnesses gave conflicting stories!). The 1476cc side valve was a real powerhouse - NOT! But once wound up it would hold 60 on the flat. Dundee to Glasgow, 80 miles, half a 5litre can of Duckhams and the other half to come back! Fantastic memories and I'd love another, but I ain't going to find one for £4 anywhere!
Can't get enough of these classic vehicles 😊
Love the distant voice coming from the Van

Shame about the yale lock on the back door.
