    Thanks much for this informative video and for letting me know of this great improvement. I just finished getting one installed and had a little glitch I'd like to pass along. After installing the EVR I had no generator output. Took everything apart, checked the armature and field and everything looked fine. Reinstalled the generator...still no output...suspected a faulty EVR so bypassed it to get full generator output. Reconnected the field wire to the EVR and now works just fine....turns out the field had to be reflashed. Michael provides excellent installation and troubleshooting instructions. I let him know of my problems and suggested he may wish to add instructions on testing the generator to see if the field needs to be reflashed.

      @@mountainhigh4084 Good point. I always polarize any generator after working on it. If it motors, I know it is electrically sound. After that I run it on the test stand.

    Camera should be focused on the generator and not on you.. Could not see what you are doing.

      Good point, sorry about that. But the video is intended to be used along with Mike's excellent printed instructions that have good close up photos.
