- Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today. On 6 July 2024, we will start today's video with snow and heavy rainfall in Sutherland, South Africa today. Cloud burst resulted in a lot of rain coming down on the R27 between Brandvlei and Calvinia. Then, there were strong winds and rough seas off the coast of Blue Horizon Bay. We make a stop for lunch at the Post Box Café in Irene. Then, a big herd of buffalo drinking water in the Kruger National Park. Attend the Berg River Marathon from the Riviera Hotel in Velddrif. Then, we make a stop at Stanford Lake College in Magoebaskloof, and we will show you more videos from around South Africa.
The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
A powerful cold front is moving in, bringing with it wet and very cold conditions, strong winds, and rough seas. And that's not all - snow is expected in the high-lying areas of the Cape provinces and the southern free state. Chilly and blustery weather and some heavy rain and potential flooding in parts of the Western Cape Province. Get ready for some intense interior winds that could cause serious structural damage in certain areas of the Western Cape Province. Brace yourself if you're in the southern West Coast, City of Cape Town, western Cape Winelands, or western Overberg districts. Strong winds are predicted to cause havoc in the Namakwa of the Northern Cape Province, the northern parts of the West Coast District, and the central and eastern parts of the Western Cape Province. These gusts could lead to transportation disruptions and even falling trees. Snowfall is predicted to cause some disruptions and even the closure of mountain passes. Stay safe, and enjoy the winter wonderland! Strong winds are forecasted to cause property damage, make driving challenging, and disrupt communication and power in several districts and municipalities in the Eastern Cape Province. Also in this video, the Haute Cabriére Restaurant in Franschhoek, drive down the main road of Irene, and landing on runway 21L at OR Tambo International Airport at Kemptonpark and we end the video today with a drive between Owen to Laaiplek in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Love South Africa, unfortunately I could no longer afford to live in that beautiful country, rent and the high cost of medical aid for me , so I sadly returned to the UK
But the living in UK more expensive than South Africa, isn't it?
@@olenaminnie436 it is expensive but we have the NHS so no expensive medical aid, I was paying R2400 amonth just for myself (as I was called a late joiner I had to pay extra. ) and then all the other stuff rent utilities groceries , fuel etc all added up , im a pensioner so my out goings were getting to be more than my income , so sadly decided to move to the UK. South Africa will always be in my heart 💕

Look how clean the streets and sidewalks of the roads are in the Cape Province. They must be so proud. KZN looks like a rubbish dump everywhere.

Most suburbs around Durban look amazing, alot of people don't even go to Durban cbd anymore cos there are so many malls and shopping centers that are safer

Ons is al ñ volle week in Sutherland(laas Sondag-weer Sondag vandag) met die hoop om sneeu te sien, sover nul sneeu. Volgens berigte sou dit vandag gesneeu het. Ek hoop dit sneeu vannag. Hier het wel gereën en sterk winde. Môreoggend vertrek ons na Karoo Nasionale Park.
Wel ek is seker jy is nie teleurgesteld as ek na al die Sutherland plasings op fb kyk en al die sneeu sien😊

It’s in both Limpopo and Mpumalanga! The most visited camps, including the main office, Skukuza, are in Mpumalanga.
