Thank you for capturing this amazing site, I flew over the area in 2019 and it was devastating to see the effects of the drought . Water truly is a blessing and life giving. What a delight.
I walked the bottom of the canyon in 1990 and wonderedwhat it would look like with water in it. patience is everything in this vast beautiful country .
It is nothing but the blessings of God. The dry, lifeless desert is filled up with God's bounty, the water. Thank you for the video. Love from Calcutta, India.
My trane loop van soveel dankbaarheid omdat God ons Almagtige Vader alles herstel wat gebroke en verlore is. Mag daardie reënwater die land vul met God se Glorie. Prys die Here. Amen.
God het maar sy tyd gevat om reens te stuur ne? Klomp vee moes eers vrek van honger en klomp boere het selfmoord gepleeg oor die droogtes... maar prys die Here. Asseblief.

A privelage to see this in my life time after being in Namib in November 2020 heartbroken to see the drought and praying all the time for the rains to come. FANTASTIC!!!!
Wow is all I could say. God is truly amazing. The blessing of rain and just to hear it gushing as it flows is so beautiful. May blessings cover this Nation that life will flow even in the desert places from the abundance of the rain. Namibia, have a blessed year ahead!!
As a tour guide for the last 3 years I have accompanied my guests countless times into the dry canyon...had the privilege to see and swim in the canyon for the first time in January 1997..also swam in the actual Sossusvei back then.it was waist deep..There were no shuttles then as there are now. We as experienced 4x4 drivers , left our vehicles in the car park and walked the 5kms to the vlei, had a swim and walked back. An unforgettable experience
I loved your video, thank you. The spectacle of nature is truly magnificent! And how nice was it to.see no pollution coming down with the water bar one plastic bottle.
Thank you for sharing this awesome sight. I was there in 2006 and we were swimming in the floodwaters at sossusvlei, our entire 2 week trip we saw the dessert turn into a delicate green grassland.
