    Which NFL team do you think will take either the biggest step forward or step backwards in 2024?

      I think the largest step will be the Lions. They will make and win their first ever Super Bowl. #OnePride

    If the Cowboys can’t get to a conference championship game with Dak on a rookie deal, or a $40M / contract, what makes anyone think they will get there with Dak making $60M / year?

    • @xoltarr424
      @xoltarr424 26 дней назад

      So, it's been all on Dak? You do realize that the last NFL teams to make it to the Conference title games have been teams not only with qbs, but teams with strong running games, defenses that don't need a lead to play well, and good coaching.
      When did the formula for that change because the Cowboys in the 70s and 90s had all of those elements.
      When Tony Romo got an extension in 2012, it was one of the largest in NFL history along with being the largest in Cowboys history. They'd just come off of back to back 8-8 seasons, Romo had just thrown 19 ints the past season. Jerry even said while he expected Romo to lead the Cowboys, it wasn't all on Tony. The past 4 years, all Jerry can say is, "we'll go as far as Dak takes us." So I ask again, when did the formula for success change in Dallas?

    • @jluu6r
      @jluu6r 25 дней назад

      @@xoltarr424 the formula changed when the QB market went crazy. No, everything isn’t Dak’s fault but he is the face of the franchise and highest paid player in franchise history and has played bad in the playoffs so he’s going to get the most blame when they lose. He also gets the most credit when the team wins. Dak is also going for his 3rd contract.

      Dak loves money too much (not that there’s anything wrong with that) but most of his value comes from being the QB of the Cowboys. If he wasn’t a Cowboy he would be looked at the same as Kirk Cousins.

  • @HeviltheDevil
    @HeviltheDevil 26 дней назад

    As a Cowboys fan, I swear Helman is paid by Dak.
    Jared Goff has objectively done more in the playoffs. Dak is marginally better than Kirk Cousins. Dak is absolutely in the ‘middle class’ of QBs talent wise. His number should AT MOST be between Kirk’s 45 and Goff’s 53.
    Paying him as the top QB for being a ‘Top 10 QB’ (aka average of Top 5 against NFC East/bad teams and ‘Top 25’ vs better than .500 competition) QB is the way to keep having these failed seasons.
    Let him walk. Maybe Denver wants to pay him. I think we’ve seen enough in Dallas.
    It’s not like the Bears where we can’t find QBs in the draft. This is the team that has had Aikman and Staubach.
    In the tier below them, this team has had Danny White, Craig Morton, and Don Meredith… who were blasted for ‘only’ winning NFC championships and never being able to win the Super Bowl.
    Dak is in the third tier - can’t even win the divisional round. He’s going into his 9th year and will be 31. He’s not getting any better.

  • @bigtex5483
    @bigtex5483 26 дней назад +1

    I will laugh so hard if Dak hits the market and finds out no one thinks he’s worth more than $30 million…
    Dak has to have everyone healthy…look at when his LT or starting wr is out…
    Does he make the play when needed?? No…never. His stats come against garbage teams.
    Against Green Bay we had everyone healthy, home field, and everything in our favor and Dak played absolutely terrible. He’s not worth it…let him walk please!!!

    • @xoltarr424
      @xoltarr424 26 дней назад +1

      So, Dak was the one playing defense? The defense that gave up 41 points. First 5 offensive drives, GB scored.
      Defense gave up 220+ yards to Arizona. Man, I wish Dak had gotten more tackles in the backfield.
      Gave up 400+ yards to the Niners before he threw his first of 3 ints in the game. Dak should've stopped the Niners from gaining 175 yards on the ground. Guess he didn't play db good enough because he gave up 4 tds to Brock.
      Dak leads a go ahead drive in Miami and swaps to defensive pads and it led to Miami marching into fg territory, for which, they kick it and win the game.
      People are so quick to blame Dak, yet forget that those 11 players on defense can't play defense unless the offense has a comfortable lead.
