you spawn on the beach after a shipwreck, kill a few little creatures, then talk to a dying captain of the ship

Agreed. Have to say most dev studios get the stamina system so wrong. Elden Ring was the best in that regard. Haven't seen anything like that since.

Yeah, I really hope that they try to do some kind of rework of the hero body model since as it stands now it’s an unholy amalgation of Popeye and a Deep One.
