IDK how all produce shippers pack their lettuce, but there is a shipper in Salinas that picks the lettuce and immediately places them in wax boxes, which inturn are sent to an ice machine that is located maybe 500 ft from the lettuce field. The lettuce-filled wax boxes are placed open on a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt stops right under a shoot for where shaved ice comes out and fills up the box of lettuce. When we arrived in Boston, the receiver sees the ice is still there and gives the ok to unload. The receiver received 2 day old lettuce. Awesome process and peace of mind for everyone.
I'm confused. If the Carrier's insurance exclusions mean that the All risk policy won't pay a claim then what is the point of purchasing an all risk policy?

Would loadsure be an example of all risk insurance?
