Given that he’s been murdering everything in sight in the outlands for 315 years with no sign of slowing down, he deserves to be shown as the most terrifying thing in the universe.

Very creepy how he’s almost running through the vents and we see his point of view. I’m very excited to see how revenant is going to work in the new season and how the rest of the lore is fleshed out. One of my favorite legends getting a whole rework is bittersweet in a way
His leaked abilities seem to make him quicker and better at helping the team in a fight, possibly a really good counter to runaways like Octane, Loba and Wraith who leave mid fight to find cover two towns over

To be honest, the classic Revenant looks so much more spookier and serious like an assassin. This new revenant looks like a robot toy from the kids’ section. It wasn’t needed to change the outlook.
I'll admit it...this really brought a smile to my face seeing revenant work. Those POVs of summoning the totem were great, just when I was thinking, imagine they use the ninja summon animation then boom they show it. I will miss my silence but I'm excited now
They are really adding Apex things into the lore! Such as: "No Audio", which can be shown by how Crypto and the others didn't hear Revenant in the vent.

I really think this is an untapped area for game design: Lore based character updates. Something happens in the story-> New weapon/ability implemented in game. Instead of creating an ever expanding and hard to innovate/balance character roster sometimes you can change up an older character and make it feel immersive

It would be so cool if they would permanently add all lore missions as a Campaign mode! That expands with each season! I'd love to be able to come back and play these lore missions in the future sequentially to relive the apex story !
This sorts of explains Rev's intention in hunting down Hammond robotics, which is also the main twist of his or its core character conflict: an immortal being, filled with blood and chaos, all he ever wanted is to finally die. (Loba: I will never let you die; I will let you suffer from yourself."). Rev hated himself just as much as how much Loba hated him.
All I'm saying, they better have updated his Reborn model, that leaked one looks so bad. But I'm so hyped for his new moves, I think they'll be much better than his current setup

We had the Revenant chapter in Pathfinder’s Quest, he was heavily involved in the storyline leading up to Ash’s release, he was a huge factor in the Bangalore story arc leading up to Newcastle, and he’s been in this storyline with Valkyrie and their deal for a few months. Have you not been watching? 😂 Besides, even if what you said is true, Rev isn’t the only character and they’ve been adding tons of lore for everyone on a very regular basis.
I'm just hoping this Rev Reborn doesn't disappoint , and that those leaked models of him aren't his official design. Edit: Phew , so glad this redesign wasn't the leaked one.
That model is likely for a bundle, like what they do for new legends releasing every season. This rework would essentially make Rev a new legend. So it makes sense.

It's very impressive. Tactical and passive are well done and perfectly balanced. Ult is perfect in every way and may get small tweaks.

It would be so cool if they would permanently add all lore missions as a Campaign mode! That expands with each season! I'd love to be able to come back and play these lore missions in the future sequentially to relive the apex story !

This sorts of explains Rev's intention in hunting down Hammond robotics, which is also the main twist of his or its core character conflict: an immortal being, filled with blood and chaos, all he ever wanted is to finally die. (Loba: I will never let you die; I will let you suffer from yourself."). Rev hated himself just as much as how much Loba hated him.

We had the Revenant chapter in Pathfinder’s Quest, he was heavily involved in the storyline leading up to Ash’s release, he was a huge factor in the Bangalore story arc leading up to Newcastle, and he’s been in this storyline with Valkyrie and their deal for a few months. Have you not been watching? 😂
Besides, even if what you said is true, Rev isn’t the only character and they’ve been adding tons of lore for everyone on a very regular basis.

Watched it a few times and have to say an amazing job on this trailer respawn as always. Hands down the best cinimatics in gaming for me.
I'm just hoping this Rev Reborn doesn't disappoint , and that those leaked models of him aren't his official design.

This rework would essentially make Rev a new legend. So it makes sense.
