Consequently, the chemical and biological effects of UV are greater than simple heating effects, and many practical applications of UV radiation derive from its interactions with organic molecules.

a UV-screen on displays which aren't able to send uv-wavelength-light and uploaded to youtube which doesn't support more than 22khz played on speakers which cant deliver more than 18khz in the most cases. but you can see it work... placebo-effect works!

Doesn't work on house flies, unless it stunned them so I could whack them. I was able to put the phone speaker somewhat close to the fly, but it never flew away.
Will try with an external speaker and see if that works. Will update with results.
Edit: The flies ended up taking over my bathroom after discovering a stash of ecstasy I forgot about 10 years ago. They invited the flies from the basement and attic and have been hosting a rave for 72-hours straight, listening to this track alone and using my tablet screen for break dancing competitions and fly orgies. House fly skanks have been dancing on the external speakers I connected using fireflies as glow sticks. I'm going to say it's a no-go for house flies at least.

It worked!! I decided to eat my breakfast on my porch in the Caribbean, I was attacked by flies trying to get to my scrambled eggs! I own the Spooky2 Rife GenX and I know how great it is, so I quickly searched RUclips for a bug frequency!! Boom, flies left the area immediately!! Thank you!

You shouldn't be able to hear the sound. If you can then it's fake. It doesn't work. You only think that it works because you want it to work. Humans can hear sounds between 20hz and 20khz. The video claims that the sounds are 38 and 44khz which is waay above the human range

This does work. If you play this through an external speaker, make sure to turn the volume up all the way. There is a couple other ones on yt that work as well. But this is better, because there's no sound and is 10 hrs long.

It can't work. Your phone's speakers aren't capable of producing 38Khz sound frequencies, and your screen isn't capable of producing ultraviolet light.

@@sharonrocks3945 Please buy a tweeter! Only supernatural sopranos can hit those notes...and if they did get it right, you now have to make sure the phone gets it. Even if you did get it, the phone's mic normally stops at 24 kHz. There's no way you can install 38 kilohertz on a phone.

Phones cannot emit ultraviolet, and that's a well known fact. The light is actually purple and blue. The alternative way is to find an object as hot as 6976.85°C to 289726.85°C (not many objects on Earth, perhaps the sun I tell ya). Objects that hot produces ultraviolet, but then you're missing ultrasound.

I'm in Tijuca Forest in Brasil, and I was overwrought by (undangerous) flies this morning. I emptied 3 full cans of repellant in the living room after it had filled up with these pests (buzzing) I just turned this on (Samsung soundbar) just below my hearing level. I pray this works. I've tried citronela, every conceivable intense, but this morning really freaked me out. It was as if this swarm is personally out for me. It's hot here so I can't just close everything, so I'll report back after a couple hours and see if this helps.
