You're a gem. Truly love your channel, candid conversation and competent, yet not overbearing performance style. You are appreciated.

Was not a fan of this purchase. It feels like too much time to get an unimpressive reveal from a single page and so many restrictions on how they pick a word.
You actually don’t even nail the first thought, and you need that to get the second.
Hope others find more use for this. Good luck.

I don't see any issue with carrying around a torn out page. You can pretty much justify any prop if you have the right story. But I'm not so crazy about having to memorize 40 things. That would probably be a deal breaker for me as my memory is not so great.

I would say that if you do this for one person it is not as easy as he makes it out to be. Two people looking in two specifc sections is best. Also not sure how this actually reads as i do not h ave in yet if the spectator wants to actually read a paragraph or two..

Nique, the 1914 MAVERICK comes with Nightm are Page. Is that a better value?

I think you'll find that the 1914 website lists all the things that Dee Christopher keeps in his Maverick (including The Nightmare Page) just to prove how much you can fit in it, but if you buy Maverick, it comes empty.

Hi Tyrone; Maverick doesn’t come with any tricks and NP is a separate purchase. 👍🏻

I’ve been looking at this since the release. Would you say this is for parlor, stage, or closeup?
Having problems finding an explanation for using one page vice a book. 1914 makes great products so I am sure they have an explanation for it.
Thanks for the review Nique, I always enjoy them, and Happy New Year!

      Happy New Year man.
I do understand people’s concerns about justifying the use of a single page torn from a book. I’ve used Dela’s WTR countless times during mingling engagements and it works for me. Similar to WTR, I’d say NP is suited to close up; I’d personally have no problems using this close up but for stage work I’d perform other types of routines.

I actually came up with this as a parlor effect initially. 95% of my shows are platform, and I'd hand the page around the room or just to 2-4 people on the first row.

Thanks David! As the performer, I have trouble sometimes taking the perspective of audience and how they think and react.

It makes no sense to have a single page of a book with you. Nothing beats the MOABT concept.

To me especially now in a non book world it is an easy prop to intrigue people with. It’s real and non fancy. I’d say an old torn out page of a book that someone has gone to the trouble of saving just exudes mystery without the use of patter…

It makes no sense to walk around with a bunch of books either 🤷
