1 Caja de harina para pastel dorado
4 huevos
1/2 Taza de aceite de canola
1/2 taza de ron oscuro
1 Taza de crema agria
Spray antiadherente para cocinar
150 gm de nueces picadas
- Mezclar la harina, el ron, los huevos, el aceite y la crema agria en un bol grande y mezclar hasta que desaparezcan los grumos.
-Rocíe el molde con aceite antiadherente, coloque las nueces en el fondo y vierta la mezcla.
-Precalentar el horno a 350°F
-Reducir la temperatura a 335°F al colocar el pastel en el horno.
-Hornear durante una hora.
-Verificar 5 minutos antes con un palillo.

Drunken Rum cake
1 Box of golden cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 Cup canola oil
1/2 Cup of dark rum
1 Cup of sour cream
Nonstick cooking spray
150 gm of chopped pecans
-Mix flour, rum, eggs, oil, and the sour cream in a large bowl and mix until the lumps disappear.
-Spray cake pan with nonstick cooking spray, place the pecans at the bottom of the pan and pour mixture.
-Preheat oven to 350°F
-Reduce temperature to 335°F when you place the cake into the oven.
-Bake for one hour.
-Check it 5 minutes before with a toothpick.

Baked/simmered, alcohol stirred into mixture:
15 minutes: 40% retained
30 minutes: 35% retained
1 hour: 25% alcohol retained
1.5 hours: 20% retained
2 hours: 10% retained
2.5 hours: 5% retained
