Thank you! I am a beginner. I saw the flap about the Chinese communists and the British piano player. Now I am hooked on Boogie Woogie. Thank you for getting me going! :)

I've knowm this pattern for years from playing accordion as a kid, but this video has inspired me to play it as boogie woogie on the piano. Thank you! More lessons please!

Definitely show the runs and how they are made - e.g. which notes 'go' with C, F, and G. I would never have thought to play the E-flat/D-sharp as part of this because I would think of it as a 'C minor chord' and expect it to be dissonant against a C or G major, but by golly it works!

    Julia thank you……
This is perfect for me, I am finding boogie a little more difficult than I expected…….Thank you for emphasising the shuffle….I want to learn a lot of different riffs as an intro into this style….This riff you are showing me today will be my fourth riff all is going good……I can play the grace notes…
    EDIT
I need to learn to bounce….
