I can always play these simple exercises, but fail completely when it comes to improvising with the right hand.
This was AWESOME! Some of the other boogie woogie tutorials I just watched were boring, but when YOUR video began with you playing what looks like a very simple, yet danceable, right hand pattern, I KNOW I'm going to enjoy your lessons! Thank you, Julia!
Awesome! Thank you!
Julia, that awesome. Just what I need. I have two right hands. I needed someone to show hand independence. Thank so much, I need more. Wow
I love the way you are explaining and the simple way to do the exercises. Please continue to bring us these type of exercises and videos.
This is great. Thanks.
Greetings from Australia ❤.. great lesson thanks for sharing
That was really good Julia, thank you.
Loved this ! Will be looking out for more tutorials. Thank you.
Thank you ! The right hand inversion makes less movement and easier to find the triads .
Great help … great lesson .
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, you got the moves!! I love blues and I play it on the guitar for... 15 years I think.... I really reeeeally always preferred to play blues above every other style. Now I'm trying to learn it on keys and even though I have no problem with rhythm, the two hands coordination is defenitely a problem haha. Tks for the video.
That was very helpful. Thank you.
Oh wow! That was exactly what I was looking for :) Thank you
Thanks teacher..this is perfect I practice a couple a minutes a day with this now ❤
Super to wyjaśniłaś. Wielkie dzięki.
Fantastic tutorial, thank you 🎉
Great breakdown of it, thank you . I like your style
That left hand is a good starting point. I'm in Julia...Thank you.
Great instructions. Gives me hope even I can do it.
Omg love this , I’m hooked , definitely will be learning these , sounds great to . 🙏
Yea I would like to know about those right hand riffs at the end.
The timing of the 'triplet' thing is something I have never seen before, and I think it is revelational for me. I do not really understand the numbers for the beats or what a 'bar' actually is, but seeing where the right and left hand combine in simple slow terms for the first time is groundbreaking for me. Thank you! I would really like to see the whole boogie-woogie thing with the runs and everything slowed down to about 1/50th the speed so as to see the timing of where everything fits into the left/right rhythm. I don't know what it's called, but the 'video trails' of the keys are really helpful. Thanks again!
Great bits, great rhythm, great Boogie-Woogie, Best Julia and super red board ! Subbed for sure.
Great. Thanks, Julia.
THank you - Great help!

to add the dominant 7 (Bb). I have be using My #2 (forefinger)
on My left hand.

Thank you. I really like the way you embellish the turnaround at the end (G - F - Gb - G - ottava G, looks like to me, anyway). Very nice.

How odd this tuts got me moving again after 50 years of trying
Do you know Dr K and also Ladyva ? Two unbelievably incredible boogie woogie players !
Of course I know them😉
@@playitwithjulia ah ok I guess you would. What I don’t understand is why Ladyva didn’t meet Brendon while she was in London last week and before that some weeks ago. She seems to be avoiding him now which is a shame !

Nice lesson, it will really great if you could show how to play these notes in terms of wrist action and technique how to land the notes. I can get it a bit from watching you play but a dedicated video will be nice.

Just ran across your page with this lesson…I’m just beginning to learn blues and boogie 🎹 and really need some continued exercises for combining left and right hand coordination…do you have some slow blues lessons to start with along with some right hand runs with bass chords ❤
Thank you! I’ll do more tutorials soon.
Slow down at start
Grate ❤❤
it's really simple :| maybe better to move on higher level.
I believe it's pretty widely accepted and understood that it's up to you to move on and find what you're looking for instead of content creators catering to just you... How much are you paying to have the privilege of having millions of videos on every imaginable topic at your fingertips? Ahh yes, it's free... Yet you're attempting to dictate how you'd like her to run her channel. Everything about that is just sad and a flex of how entitled you feel above the rest of us. 👎
Please make night train video of how to play.
Artist is Oscar Peterson a oldie but a goodie Thank You❤
