Yes! The scene with the rings being used on the hoops at the basketball court was just what I needed. I get my rings in the mail today and I've been trying to find the best place to set them up since I live in an apartment. I'm sure I can find some place at a park, basketball court, or pavilion where I can set them up for use.
Hi BE, yup that's a pretty practical set up, especially if you don't have pull-up bars which is the case unfortunately in my home-town. I also talk a little bit about this in this post: instagram.com/p/Bd0C8-TBHt6/ And I also think you'll find this article helpful: www.wikihow.com/Hang-Gymnastic-Rings-Outside
I got the rogue steel rings main reason I use chalk every time so cleaning is easier and will last longer. The straps would be replaced before the steel rings
I really like the carabiner style straps that are numbered that has become more popular recently. Very fast for adjusting the height and good for progressions as you know exactly what height you did your last workout at. Not good for hanging from uneven surfaces though or high mounting points but I have the old style straps from my old rings if I need them.
Great video, I've got plastic rings, love them, if I had to choose one pice of equipment to keep it would be that. Looking at wood ones now ;) good to see you back on Tube by the way.
Thank you for the wonderful video! helped me make my decision and in fact purchased using your link recommended below! they look good :) thanks again for being so clear..
Very high quality video Anthony!!! 😱😱😱👏👏👏 Great timing with the video! 🙌😁 I just recently quit training at the gym with my bodyweight exercises because I will start soon start an internship as a medic masseur and I want to save time spending time in traffic etc. Just started Training with Gymnastic Rings...very humbling experience!!! 😯😯😯😅
I hope that's a Reebok sponsorship. You deserve it. Secondly how have you been? Why so few uploads? Have you gotten a job and quit RUclips? Love the area around your house and the tree seems so peaceful. Also will you be making a starters guide to using rings I would love to but them but am worried about being able to use them more than anything. Hope to hear from you. Wishing you the best.
Hi S, no not a sponsorship, just a random t-shirt I wore :) . I've been quite busy with my personal training practice (I made a video explaining in the beginning of the year)

Thanks, I was thinking about this topic just yesterday "what kind there were and which I should get"

Best buying guide I've found it helped me a lot. Keep it up brother.
Glad it helped!
Looking ripped man!
I have some cheap plastic rings but fancy some thicker wood ones 👌
yup, wooden are awesome
Thank you!
Awesome video
Your welcome, happy you liked it!
Awesome video Anthony!
I was just planning on buying some rings, and your video helped a lot. Thank you 💪😎
I just ordered my pair of garage fit rings 😎 thanks for the video brother
How have they served you? I'm thinking about buying them. (I know it's a late response)
@@loremaster234 they work great, I totally recommend them!

Also not good for if you want the rings to be really close to the hanging point.

@5:20 28mm is 1.1" not 0.98" (25mm)
Best material imho isn't mentioned: Leather covered rings (usually having either a steel or wood core - more often steel).

Hey, nice video. What do you think of buying rings from ali express? The prices are quite good, but I wondering about safety and quality....
Can the strap be bought from a hardware store or is it a specific one for gymnastic rings?
👍🏻 1.1K Likes ... I guess I'll go with the 1.1" dia. rings in wood. Thanks.
Can 550 paracord replace ring straps?
Came from Juji's Garage gym video
Anyone ever had wooden or plastic rings break while training??
Long time no see and glad you didn't end up like Fat Thor.
Hey I've got an artificial leg too!
Hey brother 💪🏻
He had glued fingertips :D

@@BodyweightMuscle oh ok. Also what about a video on usage of rings for beginners hope you'll make one in the future
I was really caught off guard by the leg
4:51 now that's called being politically correct
Turn up the music I kept hearing someone mumbling
What sucks is those long ass straps if you work indoors.
DAMN ... red color is sold out only black guys
Out of stock. Disappointing
Yes, unfortunately :(
