The interpreter sucks, absolute Dog -Water, as someone who speaks fluently Russian and English I can 100% confirm, its a miracle if can drag the message through to its coherently understood meaning more than half the times he tries to translate a short paragraph.

@@freda2758 See the Russian language can be very deep and complex in a sense that in a lot/most of instances you can describe something in Russian in 5 words as of in English that would take 2 sentences 7-9 words each ( sometimes same goes for vice verse ). I personally grew up in America with Russian speaking parents at home and all friends being Russian. while school and all else was in English, so I technically have two mother tongs and "I" CAN translate these kind of live dialogs, though it is not easy at times at all, you need a in-depth expanded word bank for both Russian and English and only way to do so is if someone somehow happens to have two native tongs they speak 100% fluently. Like me:)

Also translators have to shorten or compound certain things in order to translate at a consistent pace. Some words are literally untranslatable, so translators have to work around those in split seconds and can understandably pause for some moments.

I believe this is simultaneous translation. The translator has to listen to Russian, convert it to English, and speak the English all at the same time. It can be really tricky with all the nuances of language that exists.
