I loved this song anyway because of her vocals and the speed changes in the song but this performance buh lew me away. She has such control over her soulful voice. In fact, she is wasted on this song as it holds her back.

Mentally good, so good to hear this song in its original form, the group Silk 'Can't Stop Turning You On' from 1977 and not that silly 'Afraid To Feel' rework, great version, great vocalist.
Thank you, I can’t believe I’ve never heard the silk’s original, just found it and it’s fantastic. I was born in the 80’s and love 70’s soul but that song never got its air time for whatever reason.
Louise is the vocalist on the reworked version.

From wikipedia: "Afraid to Feel" is a song by British duo LF System. The mix was created in 2019[2] and picked up for full release on 2 May 2022, by Warner Music UK. The single rose to popularity in June 2022 and spent eight consecutive weeks at number one in the UK Singles Chart and six non-consecutive weeks at number two in Ireland. The song prominently samples the Philadelphia International Records[3] act Silk's 1979 song "I Can't Stop (Turning You On)", with Louise Clare Marshall's vocals slowed down and sped up throughout the single.
Well it's called 'Can't Stop (Turning You On), not 'Afraid to Feel'. Give the original artists some credit, not the remixers.
She is the one who re-recorded the studio vocals for LF system, meaning she is singing their version. So the title is correct, especially since they only sampled part of the vocals, not the whole thing.
