  • I only learned this song a few weeks ago. Albert Vossen also composed another favorite, Grisette, that I did a few years ago for youtube. This song is usually played at a speed beyond my capabilities so I played it at a moderate tempo until the last when I greatly increased the tempo.

Hi Richard, Greetings from the UK.
Just to say very grateful to hear this piece being played at a sensible speed.
Very often people try and play it at a million miles an hour, you just can’t hear and appreciate the piece properly.
Thank you again Richard and keep up the good work 🪗 😀👍

Wow! Should be called "Flying Fingers." I was impressed when you did "Free and Easy" awhile back there, but "Frick Frack" is even more demanding.

Your "moderate" tempo seems to me a pretty fast one. When I play moderate, you would call it slow, I guess. Nicely done!

Actually I like this song at any speed and I was tempted to play it even more slowly, but I just wanted to see what would happen if I finished fast.

    too slow.. 😔

Fortunately there are lots of people who enjoyed it at a slower tempo. I did significantly increase the tempo during the last 40 seconds or so-but personally I am not convinced it needs to be played at a breakneck speed to be enjoyed. Oh, well....

@@RichardNoel I agree with you. Sth slower provides more soul. :)
