      Thank you guys too! I was planning this build for months and it's everything I had hoped for. I think it might be time to sell my XR since it's going to be collecting dust!

    You should definitely help the float life with their installation videos. This was ten times better.

    Super sick video man! You showed everything I’ve been wanting to do to my board. Billet hub is coming In today and soon I’ll order the 357-Ts

    Somehow I would like the stator removal and reassembly done as in a controlled manner as the foot pads. I doubt that’s anywhere close to how Tesla would do it. Lol
    I think those hubs look pretty nice.
    The thing that bothers me is your taking a perfectly good ~$700 motor apart to build another with a $600 hub. The look on that one guys face in a previous video said it all to me (cringe). :)
    I think you guys ought to consider using a professional made jig tool to put those motors together. That install looked really dangerous and violent. I am a retired engineer of 40yrs and I would sure hate to see those parts destroyed and worst , an accident.
    I’m also an avid Onewheel rider but nowhere near the level of you guys. I really like seeing the Onewheel sport starting to get competitive. Up to now it’s been a bunch of whining but no was stepping up like these guys. I like it although at my age and ability I’ll be watching from the streets. Really cool stuff! My big feet would really like to feel the love of some of those Halo pads on my Pint.

    Very sick build! Is there a reason you are using red loctite? I'm about to replace my rails and axle hardware and didn't think you needed it. Is it something to do with titanium hardware? Thanks!

    • @ScottRoeder
      @ScottRoeder  Год назад +1

      @hefelfury honestly it was what I already had in my garage and it's what I've used in the past. I never knew the difference between red vs blue, but I just looked it up and that explains why the bolts have been tough to remove when I've used red. I probably should have used blue, but I've also always been able to get the bolts out without damaging anything in the past. Thanks for checking out the video and for calling that out! I definitely just learned something new!

    Amazing build, video , and ride at the end! My next part will be the billet wheel, hoping for more torque & cooler temps. How do you like the wheel vs stock? Can you tell a difference in the magnet strength right when you got on?
    And dude you were crushing that trail. Looks fun as hell!

    • @ScottRoeder

      Thanks for checking it out! I built this board to replace my XR with CBXR and tail rails. I bought a stock GT on Facebook marketplace with 150 miles on it, however I only rode it stock a couple times before the overhaul. It definitely felt less stable compared to my XR, but the added torque is nice. After finishing the build it feels more responsive for both acceleration and braking. And I put a brand new Trail Pro which is what I'm used to riding and it feels great!

      @@ScottRoederHello ! I’m watching for this billet and the maxxis 6,5 tire.
      Do you recommend this change hub to a GT ?

      @@Victor-rv8kc Thanks for watching! I've never ridden that tire myself but it is supposed to be a stable tire that is good for trails.

      @@ScottRoeder Do you recommend this billet wheel ? What about the feeling ?

    • @ScottRoeder
      @ScottRoeder  Год назад

      @@Victor-rv8kc I definitely recommend the billet wheel for my style of riding. I built this to replace my XR and the goal was to replicate the ride feel as much as possible. The billet wheel allows me to ride a Burris trail pro tire which is the same that I've always ridden with my XR.
